I heard soft laughs. Am I dreaming? Am I dead? Haha. I was still writing so I could and should still be alive. Anyways, I started opening my eyes and I was forced to close it back as a very bright white room greeted me.

I moaned, groaned or whimpered as I peek through my almost tight eyelids and reached my hand towards the light. Really, God? Is that you? Lols... God’s invitation must’ve been and hopefully will come after so many years more.

Then footsteps towards the side my bed, yes, I was lying in a bed-soft and very comfortable one.

                “Oh Elly! You’re back!”

                “You’re awake!”

                “You’re alive!”

They greeted me in unison as the familiar faces slowly came into focus. Japple, Isa, Nenith and Bugui? Yeah, Bugui is there.

“Where? Where am I?” I struggled from their embrace.

“You’re in the Infirmary for quite a long time, Elly.” Japple said, “And if you don’t realized still, Adimah and you suffered the same hit.”

And by the sound of her name, I felt my heart leaped out full of life, my nerves awakened like electrified again and the butterfly garden in my tummy rejuvenated. How soothing her presence is...

I looked over the bed across mine, and she was there smiling back at me. Oh yeah, hoooooow will I know if I let you go?! Alright, so my heart’s singing now. I-I don’t really know how I reacted to her smile; let’s say I gave her a smiling-out-loud face.

“So what happened to me? I mean, I remembered a jolt of electricity but then, what happened?” I demanded, trying to ignore the irresistible lady across my bed. I wish they woke me earlier! Tsss... Haha.

“Elly, relax. Don’t be so tensed.” And she gave me a sharp naughty gaze, her eyes rolling to Adimah’s direction followed by an intriguing smile, “You’ve been paralysed for three days.” Nenith said.

I pulled my stare from her eyes ‘coz I fear if I stayed too long, she might’ve pierced through my thoughts and review my memories. “SO, I’ve been out for so long. And I- we lose?”

They all looked at each other even Bugui, they nodded grimly.

“Look it’s not you’re fault, Elly.” Japple started, “It’s just that sometimes, we fail, we fall and yet people judge us because of that but you’re still awesome to us!”

I manage a smile but the deafeat, the loss and that moment, my enemies looked down at me and-and, “Where’s Jaray?! I have to talk to him! Where is he?!” I tried to stand and the dextrose hose attached to my wrist started to bleed.

“Elly! Stay where you are! We’ll call Jaray for you.” Nenith said as she pulled Bugui and went off.

Isa and Japple started to fill me in ‘coz you know I fell early to bed as the finals continued. Adimah and I suffered an E-ability paralyzing jolt. It’s like being electrified by an enough amount to temporarily jam and shut your E-ability but as it had happen, both of us became unconscious. Adimah’s been awake for a day but the nurses adviced her to rest and recover stability in her E-ability. Or if it’s not for the odds, I wouldn’t be waking up in a room with her, just the best greeting after a long sleep.
