jungkook's hand was shaking as he placed it on the door handle and he needed to take a deep breath before he finally entered. the room was all white, a huge window letting some sunshine between clouds shine in.

his eyes roamed through the room, until they fell onto the sleeping beauty, which was lying on the bed in the middle of the room.

jungkook quietly closed the door behind him and slowly started to take steps forward. taehyung was still not awake, still unconscious.

jungkook took one of the chairs and placed it next to taehyung's head, as he took place on it.

he looked at taehyung, the older male looked pale and his lips were still very dark. there were tubes connected from his hand and his nose, making jungkook press his lips together, as he tried to hold back another cry.

he gently took taehyung's ice cold hand in his warm ones and enclosed their fingers with each other. he softly kissed his palm and after that rubbed taehyung's hand with his thumb.

his eyes were always on him. he looked like an angel, an angel which he had neglected over the last days. because of the upcoming album and stuff, jungkook tried to give his best. writing good lyrics, producing fabulous music, holding himself in shape... dancing, singing...

all that didn't matter anymore. all that mattered for him now, was that taehyung has to become healthy again and overcomes this hard time with him together.

jungkook laid his head next to taehyung's. he slowly lifted his hand and brushed one strain of tae's dark hair from his face, before pecking his forehead.

"you are insane taehyung, do you know that? you scared me so much." he mumbled quietly and smiled.

"i won't neglect you anymore tae, do you hear me? i will stay with you, but first you have to wake up." jungkook chuckled.

he moved his hand through taehyung's hair.
"oh and be ready, because when you come back, jimin will kill us for breaking our promise. do you remember? we promised him to always stay healthy and happy..."

jungkook stopped brushing taehyung's hair, leaving his hand on taehyung's cheek. he sighed and sat up.

he took out his phone and decided to inform his members that everything's is fine, but that taehyung still hasn't woken up.
