Alexa's P.O.V
I blink as I slowly open my eyes. I'm met with a land of green and I'm wearing a long white dress. I start walking when I hear a chorus of howls and follow it to a small valley. I see the pack, but a golden wolf with a white underbelly and paws is standing beside Kane's white wolf. The pack howls as one and I long to feel that. The golden wolf looks at me and barks then the pack turns and start running to me. The golden wolf nuzzles my face then stares into my eyes. The pack backs up at Kane's growl. She blinks and I mimic her. She growls, getting into an attack position and I carefully touch her fur instantly calming her. I am then taken out of there when her eyes meet mine. I feel one more shoot of burning pain then I wake. "Kane?" I ask, my voice raspy. I turn my head and my brother is hunched over holding my hand. I gently touch his cheek with my other hand and he wakes up. "Alexa! You woke up!" He yells and picks me in a hug. I hug him back and I hear everyone come. They had shifted back and are now watching from a few feet away. I open my arms and they come and hug us. I bask in the feel of the pack touch. We break apart and then Kane asks, "Did you get your wolf?" I then tell them what I saw. "She did. I know it." Bren says from the back. I see Kane's mismatched eyes glow and I feel my bones snapping and changing. I fall, screaming and crying. I scream again and it ends in a howl. I look down and see a white paw. I turn my head and see a fluffy golden tail. I look up at Kane and he smiles. Then everyone shifts and come closer to me. Whines and low playful growls come from them as they sniff and push at me with wet noses. I wag my tail and Kane sits off to the side watching. He stands up and we all turn to look. He motions at his right for me to stand beside him. I walk over and stand at his right, waiting for him to speak. Now that Alexa has found her wolf, we must be prepared for tonight at the meeting with King Chase and his pack. Kane says as he looks at the pack. We all nod and then we sit. Dec and Luke start shaking and I see excitement in their eyes. The same icy blue ones. I yip and bump Kane with my shoulder and he whirls around growling. I flatten my ears but let out a low growl back. His eyes spark in annoyance but he turns back to the pack. Bren's eyes are shining with amusement. Never seen someone growl back before. he mind links me. I let out a low bark in response. Let's go outside to our meeting area, to know where King Chase and his pack can hide. Kane links us. He runs out of the room and down the stairs, with us right behind. He opens the back door with his nose and waits for us to join him. I go right after him then everyone else comes. We run after Kane to our area. Once there, we watch Kane for the orders. Bren, Luke, Elle, and Dec, scout the waterfall. Kyle, Liam, Kaye, Angel, and Briar scout the forest. Me, Alexa, and Jason, if he comes, will scout here, and after all of you finish, come back after. He says and everyone nods and go to their group. And once they go Jason waltzes his way to us. Heard what you said, and I'm sorry I was late. He says and whines. Kane rolls his eyes and starts. I sniff and start walking around. I go to the edge and keep my nose to the ground. I'm walking when I hear a low groan come from the ground under me. I look up and see Kane and Jason looking at the ground where I am. I look down and see the ground slowly breaking. I jump away and see the earth fall apart. As I lay panting, I hear a howl start. Then another and another until the whole forest is full of howls. I look at Kane and see him howl, calling back the pack. Once everyone has come back he starts speaking, Hide around in the forest. But first hide your scents in the pond. Then hide around in the forest, King Chase came unexpectedly. He says and they do. But not Alexa or Jason. He growls. We stay and everyone drenches themselves. I sit beside Jason and I feel the burn of a stare. I turn and see Dec, Luke, and Kyle glaring at us. I bare my fangs slightly and turn back. I hear low growls and see Jason and Kyle glaring at each other. Kane lets out a huff and they stop. Kyle, Jason, who is the beta? Kane asks, but allows us to hear. Kyle is, Alpha. Jason says, dipping his head. Kane shakes his head, No. Jason you are, not Kyle. Kane says. Jason nods and stays put. Kyle lets out a savage growl but the stare that Kane throws stops him. Kyle dips his head, knowing he's lost this fight. Jason and Kane stand on either side of me, as protection. I see about twenty wolves walking towards up then three split. A large dark silver, a dark brown and black, and the silver white. Ryder looks at me and is about to come closer until the brown one snaps at his paws. Ryder jumps back and King Chase looks at Kane. Kane, I hereby state that you and your pack must leave here. If any of the wolves here see, smell, or even hear about any of you, I will personally kill you or your pack. We will chase you out of the territory and won't welcome you ever again. King Chase snarls. Okay, we won't return. We will leave today. Kane states then turns to us. We go now, we don't need trouble. We nod but the twins look down, Alpha, our father is coming with us, right? They ask. Kane shakes his head and they nod sadly. Kane growls and I turn to the pack. I bark and follow Kane. As I pass Ryder I feel him slightly touch my side. I jump away, into Jason. He looks at me and keeps my pace. We run stride for stride after everyone, making sure they are safe. I turn my head a little and see King Chase, Ryder, and Mr. Matthews chasing us. Ryder isn't growling like King Chase and Mr. Matthews has an apologetic gleam in his silver eyes. Jason speeds up and I match his stride. We keep running until I can't hear King Chase's growl. We stop and I see them watching us from the other side of the tree line. We are standing in a valley that reeks of wild wolves. King Chase's eyes shine with coldness and hatred as they turn away. Ryder keeps watching me then turns away and follows. His voice rings in a low howl. We all look to Kane and await for his orders. I know where we are. We're near the town of Lupine Ridge its a small town in Montana, near Hamilton. We'll go there for the night, then in the morning continue to Hamilton. Kane says. We nod and follow him towards the town of Lupine Ridge.

Ryder's P.O.V
I follow my father, Mr. Matthews, and the rest of the pack to Alexa's pack meeting area. I keep my head down until my brother nips my cheek. I growl and he looks at me, You didn't fall for Kane's sister, did you? He asks me. Of course not. I reply, shaking my head. Jake looks at me, not believing but doesn't push the subject. I see Mr. Matthews has a coldness in his eyes. It's because he's the beta, has to do what my dad says. I think to myself. I see Alexa standing between Kane and Jason, their pack is standing behind them. My father, Mr. Matthews and I walk forward. My father doesn't let me hear what he is saying but by the way Mr. Matthews stiffened it isn't good. Jake and I sit as the pack nods at whatever my father is saying. Then Kane nods and his pack nods, but the twins look down. They converse until Kane shakes his head. Then they all take off running. Ryder, Joe, let's chase them out. My father tells us. We run after them and I keep at pace with Joe Matthews, whose sadness I can feel through the pack bond. Alexa and Jason are just ahead, matching each other's speed and stride. I feel a burning deep in my belly and I hear Jake's laugh, Ryder, I never knew I would feel jealousy come from you. I ignore him and focus on my father's cues. Alexa turns her head and looks at us, and I feel bad for driving them out. I look away and follow my father. When he stops I realize where we drove them. Lupine Ridge. I look at the valley and smell the reek of wolves, our kind and normal. My Father and Joe turn and run and I give Alexa one last look before I follow behind. I fall behind but can still track them. I lift my head and howl a low farewell, then I run off after my pack.
