Chapter 17: The Day

Next Morning**
"Alexa. Wake up already." I hear a voice nag. "Go away." I mutter rolling onto my stomach. "Alexa. I'll come back with water." I sit up, "I'm awake." Kaye stands by the door, hands on her hips. "I'm bringing your breakfast up here." I look at my phone, "Kaye, hun, it's 6 in the morning." She turns to me, "Yeah, your ceremony is at noon. And the girls from the AshPeaks are coming and our girls are here to get ready. Ace is letting all the guys go to their pack house. So get your ass out of bed." She says. I stretch, and sniff. "Kyle's not here." I say. "They left about twenty minutes ago. The AshPeaks are coming in 10, so get dressed." She says, and walks out. I go into my bathroom and wash my face. I look at my mark and smile then turn into my closet. I shut the door, and undress. I slip on jeans and a band shirt. I open the door and go back to my counter. I comb out my hair and slip on my Vans. I go downstairs and see Kaye, Briar, and Elle already eating. "Morning to you guys too." I mutter, reaching for the Fruity Pebbles. Kaye smacks my hand, "No!" She hollers and I cover my ears. "Really?" I say, and see Ghost. I grab his bowl and fill it with food. "Here you go." I say, and he digs in. Kaye points to the bowl of fruit, "That's your breakfast." She says, and I roll my eyes. I grab a fork and plop down next to her. I eat it all, and get up, hearing two cars pull up. "It's the AshPeaks." Kaye says. I go to the door, and see six girls walking up. I go out, "Hi." I say, greeting them all. They smile and dip their heads, "Oh, don't be so formal." I laugh, and they laugh along. "Come on in." I say, moving out of the way. They all walk in, and Ghost looks up. My girls greet them with warm smiles and I smile, happy they're getting along with no issues. "You girls hungry?" I ask, and the taller one replies, "No, thank you. We ate before we came." I nod, "Well, we should start getting ready." I say clapping my hands together, making Kaye jump up and squeal. "We'll help you guys with your make up or hair." I say, and my girls nod. The AshPeaks smile and head back out. I go to Kaye, "They're not that bad." I say, and she nods. They come back, all having a dress in one hand and shoes in the other. "Thereare bathrooms all over so find one, and get dressed. Call if you need help with anything." I say, and Kaye loops her arm through mine. Briar and Elle go upstairs and we follow after. The AshPeaks quickly find bathrooms and Kaye goes to her room. I sit at my desk, waiting. She returns with her dress and closes the door. "Let's get ready." She says. I grab my dress and go into my bathroom. I hang it up, and Kaye turns on the shower. "Now, shower. You stink." She giggles and I playfully hit her arm. I shower quickly and dry off. I put on my fluffy robe and open the bathroom door. Kaye gets up, and moves past me, "I'm using your shower." I just nod, and get my underwear and bra. I barely slip on my white underwear when someone knocks on my door. I open it and one of the AshPeaks smiles at me timidly. "Alpha Sinclair, can you help me with my dress?" She asks. "Oh, you don't have to call me that. Just call me Alexa." I smile, then zip up her dress. "You look beautiful." I compliment, as the dress doesn't seem bad. She smiles and turns away. I close my door again, and I put on my white strapless bra. I put on my robe again, and Kaye walks out. "You have a black strapless I could borrow?" She asks, and I throw it at her. "Thank you." She calls over her shoulder as she walks back into the bathroom. "Hurry up Kaye! I have to blow dry my hair!" I yell. She opens the door, "No you won't. Briar's coming with Elle and we're all going to help out the AshPeaks." I huff at her, and she has sweats on. I move past her and put my black tank top and black joggers on. I towel dry my hair, and follow after Kaye. Briar grabs my arm, "Let's help these girls out." She smiles. I go downstairs, and they are all sitting on the couch. "Okay, ladies. Let's get ready." I say, but the taller one looks at me, "We are." She says, making me shake my head. "You didn't put make up or do your hair yet." I say, and she looks at the girl next to her. They nod, and I grab the girl closest to me and take her to the closest bathroom, "Wait here." I instruct. I headupstairs and see Elle and Briar carrying curling wands and straighteners and going downstairs. Kaye has her makeup box in hand and I get mine from my room. I go back to the bathroom and get to work.
