I look at them in fear and I start backing away. "Alexa, what's wrong?" Kane asks and I shake my head. "What does Dad have to do with the Monster wolf Fenrir?" I growl. Joshua goes still and he turns to look at Kane. "She doesn't know?" Joshua asks and Kane shakes his head, making me look at him in confusion. "Didn't tell me what?" I ask. "Dad... wasn't a normal wolf. He was too large as a wolf, and he was seen as a challenge to King Chase. Dad fought with the King but he didn't take over as King. Mom didn't want Dad to take over for some reason, so they had remained as the Alphas of the RedHill pack." He says and I growl. "That doesn't answer my question." I snap, my annoyance at him not answering my first question. "I'm getting there, so shut up." He snarls and I cross my arms across my chest. "When he fought the King at a dominance challenge, the King screamed at Dad when he lost. He was accused of being the descendent of the Ancient Wolves." Kane says. "And he was right." Joshua answers. I look at them both in shock, "Doesn't that mean... we are too?" I stutter and Kane nods, making my heart stop. "Dad made me swear not to tell you. To keep you safe and protected. And it's worked until now. And I'll continue doing exactly what I have to do to keep you safe, even if it means accepting that I'm a Sinclair and the descendant of the Ancient Wolves." He says and I hug him. Joshua clears his throat and I look up at him. "Are either of you mated?" He asks and I look up at Kane. "Alexa was to my past Head Enforcer. But he died. And now she's found her mates." He answers and Joshua sighs. "You don't realize, do you?" He asks. "Realize what?" I ask. "You don't have multiple mates, like regular wolves. You have one True Mate that you know just by a look, that you are meant to be with them." He says and I look down. "Kane, you need to find your mate. And quickly." He then says and Kane looks at him. "Why? I don't want or need one." He says, annoyance clear in his voice and tone. "Because Alexa will be collected in five days time to be sent to the Amalfi Pack and given to the sons of my Alpha Dante." He says and I stiffen. "What?!" Kane and I yell at the same time.

So this is only a filler chapter since the next has a lot more drama. So Alexa's finally met her uncle Joshua (P.S who should I cast as him? He's in his 40's) But comment your thoughts. Thanks!
