After arriving back, Ryuu ran a background check.

Laurestine Grey actually existed though her whereabouts were unknown now. The fire did take every family member's life except hers. There was nothing to doubt about her past. When Ryuu considered through the entire situation, he concluded it was someone else behind this.

She couldn't have done it to reveal false news. He found out she was crying alone as well. There must be something else behind this. As result, Ryuu sent a few men to dig to the bottom of the news. Now, here he was, waiting for L in the office with a coffee cup across him on the table.

Due to the fact that Lauren was busy bringing her brand back to the high spot, she did not have a lot of time to spare. "When will she appear?" Checking the watch on wrist, Ryuu's brows wrinkled. Laurestine was the first ever woman who got him waiting while wasting time.

Everything he had never encountered in his life, was being brought to him for the first time by a woman named Laurestine Pierre. "Sorry for the wait" At last, L entered the office. Capturing the man's attention. Ten minutes late and she did not hesitate to apologize.

He thought she was the type not to admit the fault.

Maybe, he had yet to know her well. "I have arranged everything. All you have to do is stand by my side. We will claim we have been dating for a month" L detailed. Sitting down across him with a file in her hand. "That's it?" Ryuu asked; tilting his head.

"Yes. After that, I will announce the rumors about you, are false. I hired some people to pretend as your family. They will clear your name. In that way, your club will escape the police's hunt" L's statement stunned the man a bit. It was a win-win situation. She considered it carefully.

But why was she being so nice to the extent of covering his origin? "Why are you doing this? You could have just exposed the truth and drag me into the hellhole along with you" Ryuu couldn't help but asked his doubt out loud. Causing L to smile. "Did you forget, my love?"

The way she addressed, caught him by surprise. "We are in this together. You are my boyfriend. As long as you go on a date with me twice a week, I can do anything to save us" She proclaimed. Only to confuse the man. This date, that date. Why was she eager about it?

"Ask questions later. We gotta go"
L knew the man would list the questions. She had to keep her mouth shut and leave him curious. "Your hand" As they both stood up, L voiced. For a second, Ryuu froze there. No reaction returned. "You are my man now. It is better to be affectionate even if it is only pretense"

In every possible way, L persuaded the man. His gaze lifted. Meeting her unreadable expression. It was odd. There was admiration in her eyes. But wasn't this pretense? Did she master the art of seduction to look at him in such tempting way? "Whatever" Ryuu frowned.

Letting the woman hold his hand while L smirked. He was a bit cold but that did not mean he did not have a heart! The two stood in front of the store. Surrounded by a bunch of reporters Rosa had gathered, the couple held their heads high. Their hands intertwined firmly.

"Miss Laurestine, are you confirming your relationship?" "Miss Laurestine, can you please tell us about your family more?!" "Sir Ishikawa, how long have you been dating with her?!" "Sir Ishikawa, what's your response to the rumors of being involved with yakuza organization?!"

The chaotic crowd started to annoy the man.

His grip upon L's hand tightened. Furrowing brows. "It is true that we are dating" L's affirmation conquered every voice. Receiving a lot of flashes from cameras. "We have been together for a month" she continued. "How did you two meet?" The reporter questioned.
