c.51- Her bruise

On the way to confront Takahashi Ami,

Ryuu could not soothe himself. The bruise on Laurestine's back kept bothering him. How could that old woman hurt Laurestine? Why did Laurestine let others injure her? From the first time they met, Ryuu knew Laurestine would fight back bravely.

Her boldness was on another level. The way she swayed her fist in the face of a man right in front of him and others, indicated how courageous she was. And yet, she let that old woman leave a bruise on her! How was that acceptable? His blood boiled on the inside.

The exasperation was hard to control. Seeing Laurestine with a bruise drove him insane. Even he restrained himself from holding her tightly because he feared she might be bruised! Ryuu was ready to risk it all. The responsibility he held did not make it on time!

It did not matter if he was just a contracted boyfriend. As the man of relationship, he should have protected her. Now, due to lack of his care, she even obtained a bruise! The more he thought, the more he became upset. If only he was beside her! If only!

"I knew you would appear"

Sipping the wine, Ami smirked over the arrival of the man. He stood still from a certain distance. His death stare pierced through Ami's soul almost. "Did your girlfriend tell you to get rid of me? Or did she actually sell you out?" Tilting her head, Ami let out a chuckle.

"How are you going to take responsibility for the bruise you left on my woman?" Rather than beating around bushes, Ryuu queried straightforwardly, calm and collected still. Ami's right brow arched. Oh? To the point right away? She stood up with an amused gaze gleaming.

"Wow, Ishikawa-kun, I don't remember hitting her at all. Did she lie to you perhaps?" Ami played clueless. Shifting the blame on the woman. "I am giving you a chance to admit and reflect on your fault" Coldly, Ryuu stated. His hands in pockets indicated how tranquil he was.

Despite the irritation, he tried to remain serene. "Ishikawa-kun! You are choosing to trust that woman?! Over me?! Seriously?!" Ami asked. Eyes widening in disbelief as Ryuu's brows wrinkled. She kept getting on his nerves. Foolish of him to think she would admit her fault.

She never changed.

"When have you admitted the truth anyway? You are just a whore sucking money out of lustful men. All you do is run away after causing trouble. Starting from now on, we no longer have to contact each other. I am done with this" Ryuu spat. Stunning the woman entirely.

"Ishikawa Ryuu!" Furiously, Ami threw the wine glass. Causing a loud clash on the floor as the wine splattered on fur carpet. "You dare to talk back to me?! That woman is just a foreigner! Nobody knows her background! I am trying to save you!" Ami pointed her finger at him.

"I can tell she has evil intentions! Just because of a filthy bitch like her, don't you dare to disrespect me! I used to be the Mistress of Takahashi household! Show some respect!" Her fists trembled in irritation. How could he?! How could a mere man like him call her a whore?!

She thought he would do anything for her! Didn't her alluring charm work upon him?! Ryuu's face twisted in disgust. His death glare looked straight into the woman's eyes. "A whore like you has no right to call my woman like that" He hissed. Fueling the anger of the woman.

"You!"

"Consider this as your payment for touching my woman. Be glad I am not interested in taking your life" Spitting the words, Ryuu left the house. Sparing no chance for Ami to beg even. “Ishikawa Ryuu! How dare you?! Is this how you repay your previous master?! You!”

Since that moment, no one had seen Takahashi Ami again. Nobody knew where she disappeared. Her existence was wiped out by a man named Ishikawa Ryuu. She just vanished into thin air. "Why did he react furiously over a mere bruise? Could this be a sign of him falling for me?"
