"Ryuu"

Trying her best to inhale, L voiced out loud. How the heck did she end up between his arms again?! She was going to die at this point! "Ryuu" Her voice trembled. The strong men had never been a bother until now! She furrowed her brows tightly and patted the man.

It was when Ryuu's brows twitched. He squinted his eyes, attempting to recognize the situation he put himself in. And the realization hit as soon as he witnessed the woman scowling. "Lauren, what's wrong?" Ryuu had yet to notice the fact that the problem was him.

"I can't breathe" L disclosed. Panicking the man. "Oh, sorry" He promptly took his arms back, sitting up with a frown of disappointment in himself. The woman did not respond a word. She sat up, clearing her throat beneath a scowl of frustration. She did not get to sleep well!

How was she going to survive with three hours of sleep?! What if she passed out?! "I am really sorry. I probably dreamt about losing something and hugged you tightly. You can hit me if you are upset. I have no objections" Ryuu never hesitated to apologize if he was wrong.

Most of the time, he was always right.

But after meeting Lauren, he learnt how to apologize in tears even. "No, don't worry about it. If you had a good sleep, consider to return. I have to work" L stepped out of the bed. Her words struck the man like a lightning in the middle of summer. Go back? So, she rejected him?

"Wait, Lauren" The hoarse voice in the morning rang within the bedroom. Ryuu quickly rushed after the woman to seize her. "Can't we start over?" He asked. A sigh escaped between L's lips. "No, Ryuu. I am no longer interested in relationship matter. It is tedious for me now"

She straight up turned him down. "As for the last night case, I only slept with you because your dark circles were begging me. But that's all. I won't help you further. You ended this first. Be a man of own words. We are done" Softly, L shoved the grip off from her arm.

The silence conquered. Indescribable guilt built up in Ryuu. His eyes darkened. Neither could he blame his master nor her. The only problem was him only. "All right" For the moment, Ryuu acknowledged the rejection. He, himself tried to understand her decision.

"Have a good day"

L wished. "You too" Murmuring the words, Ryuu left the apartment. He did not bother to wash his face at all, let alone having breakfast. His mind had a lot of questions and regret so that he felt like he needed some alone time for a long period. "Man, he is actually cute"

Losing one cute man drained L's energy. If only poly relationship was an acceptable case... "Except for the fact that he strangles me in the bed with his strong arms" There were cons after pros always. She could not shut her eyes and be sad about losing him after all.

Today was different. L did not have to go to office for work. She had a free day rather but still, she had a few designs to finish for the gala day. Howbeit, a guest came knocking on the door. "Don't tell me Keiji followed me here" Beneath a frown, L let out a mumble, confused.

There was no way, right? Or so she hoped. Keiji did appear at the door, with his usual money bouquet. "I heard you did not have a schedule at the office. May I enter?" Wearing a smile, the man requested. Hushing down the woman. The effort he put in was praiseworthy, truly.

"Not that I can kick you out"

L opened the door wide, allowing him to step inside. "Thanks" With a glance, Keiji quickly explored the interior of apartment. He, then put the bouquet on table instead of offering to Lauren since he knew she would refuse to accept it. "Have you had breakfast?" He queried.
