"How was your date?"

Next day, Rosa attacked her friend with a list of the questions once she entered the office. "Did you call me this morning to make sure I was coming just to ask that question?" L responded; sitting on the couch with a coffee cup in her grasp. "Please tell me you had fun with him"

Settling down across her friend, Rosa begged. Usually, Laurestine seemed a bit cold on the outside. It was not her fault that she was born with a quiet nature but still, Rosa wanted her friend to smile often and enjoy the life instead of overworking. "I guess I had" L shrugged.

Putting a wide grin upon Rosa's lips. "I can imagine your teeth catching a cold because of how wide you grin when with your boyfriend" A light chuckle escaped between her lips as she made up scenarios to live in it. "You are exaggerating it" L shook her head helplessly.

"Talking about cold, when did you return last night?" Rosa's smile replaced with a frown. Confusing the woman. The topic just changed quickly? "Probably around three or four in the morning" L failed to recall the exact time she reached back home. "WHAT? THREE?"

A shout echoed.

Startling L wholly. What's with this reaction even? "Yes?" L furrowed her brows to express her puzzlement. "Haven't you heard the news, Lauren?! It said the strong and cold breeze between two and five in the morning could give you a flu. It is going viral on the internet!"

The information came up. "Flu? I feel all fine right now though. No headache, no numbness, or dizziness" L put the cup down on table while frowning. "Can't be! It is true! I got one, two weeks ago. If it wasn't taken care of properly, I would have died" Rosa asserted. "That much?"

L tilted her head. Earning a nod. All of the sudden, an idea crossed the woman's mind. Her eyes gleamed in bliss, which confused Rosa a bit. What's the atmosphere? Why did it feel as though a villain was plotting something big in their mind? "Lauren, what's wrong?"

Noticing the silence of her friend, Rosa asked out loud. "Do you think I should take a rest from work to prevent the flu before it can happen?" The query escaped between L's lips. Somehow, it sounded a bit random. But Rosa nodded promptly. "Go back home. I will fill in your spot"

She encouraged her friend.

Worrying for Lauren's health. "Thank you for your consideration. I will buy you something you want later" L got up from the couch as Rosa pouted beneath a scowl. "Always saying the same thing. You know well I don't want it. I only want to have friend dates"

The demand was light and cute. Causing L to smile in bliss. "As you wish, Miss. I shall ask you out when I get better" And so L went back to her apartment to take a rest. But the real plan was hidden. Around six in the evening, she called her so-called boyfriend.

At that time, Ryuu was actually having a discussion with his men over the export matter. However, he stopped the conversation when the woman's phone call came in and decided to accept it. "Mhm?" Ryuu's deep voice reached out. "Are you free to talk?"

L threw a question while leaning on the sofa. The man's eyes swayed. Taking a glance up at the group of men who were looking at him in curiosity. "Yeah, what is it?" Ryuu answered; his voice remained serene. "About the Sunday schedule, I am not sure if I can come"

L started to inform.

Her words caused to Ryuu stand up from the couch; heading a bit far from the men to assure no one could hear the call. "Busy schedule?" He queried with his hand in pocket, eyes out of the window; currently on the thirteenth floor, away from the Japan at the moment.

"No" L's denial confused the man. "Though that day is clear for me, I wouldn't make it since I caught a cold. But if I get better in these days, I will call you back" Her tone lowered as if she was collecting the energy to talk. And it hushed down Ryuu. Cold? Was it from last night?
