Next morning, L woke up to the call.

The phone ringing sound ripped apart the woman's dream. "Fucking shit! Who dares to call me at six in the morning?! I will make them regret for calling me this early!" Frustrated, she sat up in the bed to grab the phone from beside. Her hair in a mess, saliva on her cheek still.

She took a look at the id. "Huh? Boyfie? When the fuck did I get a boyfriend? Oh! Oh my god! That's Ishikawa Ryuu!" Realization hit L at last when the sense flew in. She cleared her throat, straightened her back and answered the call. "Yes?" "Come open the door"

The deep voice sent shivers down to her spine. Come open the door? What even did he mean? "Are you drunk? It is still six in the morning though" A frown tugged on her face. "Are you letting me in or not?" The query returned. Stunning the woman. He was at the door?!

In front of her apartment?! But she did not even let him drive her back! Well, it must have been easy for him to find out. But still, wasn't it a bit early for him to appear?! They just talked yesterday evening and now he's back from Russia! "Alright. Give me five minutes"

Ending the call, L rushed out.

She combed her hair in hurry; brushing her teeth and splashing some water on her face. Exactly after five minutes, L opened the door. Meeting Ryuu who was holding the bento in his grasp. "Do you need anything?" L furrowed her brows as she allowed the man to step inside.

"They forced me to return and take care of you" Ryuu informed. His eyes explored the place quickly. Neatly arranged one. "They?" L approached. "The ones who think you will be their sister-in-law" Ryuu replied as he turned to face the woman after placing the box.

"Mhm..." L quieted down. It would definitely take ten hours to fly from Moscow to here. Calculating the time he arrived at her door, he probably rushed here after the phone call. Quietly, L danced on the inside. What a joyful event! Her plan worked! "Feeling better now?"

Ryuu's gaze scanned the woman from head to toes. The scarf wrapped around her arms did not seem thick enough to keep her from wind, and the thin nightgown which could not even help her to keep warm the whole night; was she really sick or did she not care?

"I am all fine now"

L shrugged. "When did you go to sleep last night?" Ryuu's question caught L off guard. Sleep time? Was it necessary? "Around twelve. I had a few works to finish. Why?" She blinked to express her puzzlement. It put a scowl upon the man's face. "Twelve? That's too late"

He spat. "Too late? We even went out on date up until three in the morning" The woman responded while looking up into the man's intense gaze. "Laurestine, do you really wish to fulfill your to-do-list?" The query dragged the woman into silence. Huh? All of the sudden?

"Is there any problem with that?" L frowned. Not seeing through the hidden meaning of the question. "If you are careless, there is. The flu won't go away if you continue to overwork. At least, try to take care of yourself" Ryuu's gaze swayed to avoid eye contact.

And it was when L's brows raised in realization. Ah! He was concerned! "Now that you are here to take care of me, I believe I can rest assured" She flashed a smile which captured the man's attention. Taking care of her? But he was just forced to deliver the lunch box only.

He rushed here after flight.

Due to the fact that he could not fall asleep on plane, he had been awake since yesterday. He's exhausted. Howbeit, with the smile, this woman was pleading him to take care of her. What should he do? No matter how quick he wanted to leave, his feet would not budge a bit.

"Have you had breakfast?" L asked; her steps directing to dining table. "No" "Have it with me then. You must be tired from flight" The offer came up. Leaving the man with no choice but to accept. Just a meal would be fine. "Where did you buy this? It looks delicious"
