c.50- His fury

The words stunned L wholly.

Did she trip or did this woman actually say that?! Buying Ryuu? Was he an object in her sight?! “Pardon?” Although she was screaming internally, L managed to maintain the tranquil expression on the outside. “Don’t be surprised. I just can’t let him go. He’s pretty cute one”

Shrugging, Ami admitted. Attacking L with surprise. This woman’s brain must have a hole in it for sure! "You are being disrespectful, Miss Takahashi. Before I drive you out by force, please consider walking out of here on your own" L straight up kicked the woman out.

"With that temper, how did you survive in this world?" Ami covered her lips to mock. "Guards! Drag her out" Rather than holding the argument, L turned around to leave the situation. Laurestine Pierre would not even bother to bark back. She should stick with character.

"You!" Being neglected by a young woman, embarrassed Ami badly. In fury, Ami threw her leather purse at L. Hitting the woman right on the back. And the silence conquered. L's whole body tensed up in anger. How could she stay calm and stick to the character now?!

Furiously, L whipped around.

Her eyes flickered with the desire to take someone's life. "Listen, I don't care what kind of past you had with my boyfriend. But you better stay away from us from now on. Otherwise, don't blame me for what I might do to you" L warned. She restrained herself from throwing fists.

Somehow, Ami felt familiar with the terrifying aura around L. No wonder she became the girlfriend of Ishikawa Ryuu! They shared the same scary aura! "Hmph! Such a bitch!" Stomping on the floor, Ami walked out of the shop before the guards dragged her out. "Bitch..."

L cursed under her breath. That was the mother of Keiji?! No way in hell would she have expected! When the problem ran away on its own, L returned to her office. "Lauren, how'd it go?" Rosa, sitting on the sofa, jumped up quickly. Curiosity glowing in her blue eyes.

"I kicked her out. Make sure her name never makes it to the list of our customers" L instructed. A scowl displayed upon the face to express the vexation. "Yes, Ma'am!" Rosa nodded firmly. "By the way, is she the ex-wife? Or Ishikawa Ryuu's old fling?" Another question came up.

Although Rosa was anxious to ask it out loud, she ended up querying anyway. "Hm?" L's gaze lifted while she settled down on sofa across her friend. "I... I mean I heard her asking about your boyfriend. I assumed he would be related to this issue" Rosa explained.

Fidgeting while avoiding the eye contact.

"I don't know" However, L's uncertain reply stunned Rosa. "Huh?! Didn't you go through his dating history before accepting him? Who knows what he did in the past?!" Worried, Rosa began to complain. L let out a sigh. "Wasn't interested enough to question him"

She retorted, calmly. It was the moment Rosa blinked in surprise. Her friend sure was a different breed when it came to the case of remaining calm. No matter how hard the problem was, her friend just stayed serene to solve it. "Talk about it with him. Get your answer"

Rosa encouraged, settling back down across L. "I will" Soon, the sun set. L returned to her apartment thanked to Rosa who helped her with works. "This shit is insane" The whole day, L had been pondering about the relationship between Ryuu and Takahashi Ami.

Did Keiji approve? What about Keiji's father? How did Ryuu fall for that kind of woman? Questions were left unanswered for the moment. "Ugh, I don't know anymore, man!" Ruffling her hair, L groaned in annoyance. She should just ask Ryuu face to face.

Two hours passed.

The doorbell rang inside. Capturing the woman's attention. The highlight of the day had appeared! L opened the door, encountering Ryuu with a bouquet in grasp. "Any occasion?" Confused, she tilted her head. "Take this as gratitude for being my personal sleeping pill"
