Out

Kaida woke up tiredness over her body, as always the nightmares didn't allow her to sleep, but she didn't care because she was going to get out of there. She didn't know if it would be alone or with her friends, but she was tired of the Apparant, tired of being underground and she wanted to find Nikolai, no matter what.

She dressed up and went to the kitchen where Genya was.

"Good morning," Kaida said entering the kitchen.

"Good morning," Genya said. "What's on that mind of yours?" Genya asked, seeing that Kaida wasn't sure whether to speak or not.

Kaida looked around, making sure no one was listening and got closer to Genya. "I'm leaving this freaking place," Kaida whispered.

"What?" Genya asked in surprise.

"I'm tired of it. And I swear that if the Apparant tries to tell me what to do one more time I will end him," Kaida said angrily. "Besides, I need to find him. I need to find Nikolai and being here is useless we still need to help Ravka,"

"What are you playing to do? I mean how are you planning to escape?" Genya asked.

"I don't know, but I'm getting out of here, even if I have to control everyone with my small science," she said decisively.

After talking with Genya she went with the rest of her friends.

"Good morning," Kaida said.

"Hey," Jake said with a smile.

"Aren't you tired of being here?" Kaida asked them, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yes," Mal, Jake and Zoya said.

A strong noise came from the big doors from the room and an army of soldiers brusted from the door and pointed at them with guns.

The whole group of friends lifted their hands and looked in shock.

"What 's going on?" Kaida asked, confused.

"They are trying to attempt against our Sun Saint!"The Apparant said, pointing at them.

"What?!" They all asked confused.

"Are you insane?" Jake asked shockley.

"Take all their weapons and take them to custody," The Apparant ordered.

The soldiers walked towards them and started to take the weapons from them and grabbing them by their hands, putting them by the back.

Kaida lifted a brow when a group of soldiers walked towards her. The soldiers turned to see the Apparant.

"Take her, she wants to hurt our Saint," he ordered.

"Don't you dare to touch me," Kaida said angrily.

The soldiers hesitated but walked towards her.

"Don't tell me I didn't warn you," she said. The soldiers attempted to take her hands but she moved quickly to the side and dodged them. The soldiers lunged at her again, but she dodged them again gracefully. More soldiers joined in and one caught her off guard from behind. To her misfortune, the soldier caught Kaida by the exposed area of her arm. The skin-to-skin contact burned, it was very painful, and the memories it stirred in her even more. The soldiers surrounded her and between several of them held her.

Kaida stopped fighting, feeling her skin burn with every touch. Her breathing became heavy and rapid, fear and frustration blinded her eyes.

The soldiers, noticing Kaida's condition, looked at each other in confusion and then at Kaida's friends, not knowing what to do. Jake and the others looked at Kaida with concern.
