"Apart from the fact that , Alavania was giving monetary aid to Eucon, why did you Marry Me Taehyung ?"

Taehyung was taken aback by the question. He never thought about the 'why' in their new relationship. Of course there was the whole monetary aid angle. But was there any other reason?

" I don't know, I guess that Alavania providing aid to Eucon is a big reason." Taehyung says doubtfully.

" So if, i give an offer that even if you leave me now, and the aid would still be provided, would you revoke this marriage? " Jungkook throws another big question towards Taehyung.

"No " Taehyung replies without any hesitation.

"Why?" Jungkook questions.

"Then what about you, and -and the dethroning order." Taehyung reasons.

"..." Jungkook is left speechless.

"Answer me." Taehyung pesters him.

"I guess you can revoke it after, i conceive." Jungkook suggests.

"Are you implying I should leave my child ." His tone showing obvious displeasure.

"No , that's not what I meant.". Jungkook clarifies immediately.

" Jungkook, why are you suggesting things, and not even weighing the consequences of it, whatever our reasons were for getting married to each other, is not important now. The reality now is we're married, and there is no going back now, until and unless you are the one who wants to back out, but I would never leave you or my future child." Taehyung says, with an intention to put a stop to this conversation.

THe thought of him leaving Jungkook and his child or Jungkook leaving him, making him uncomfortable. Filling his body with dread.

" But I feel like, I have snatched away your chances of finding true love" Jungkook's voice trembles.

Taehyung is once more speechless. He never thought, that these were his real intentions. Jungkook fears that Taehyung can never find true love. Why? Why can't he find true love.
He can, even if his marriage to Jungkook is not out love, it can turn into one. Right?

"Jungkook, you have no reason to feel like that." He says softly.

"But it's true, I am not capable of loving someone, you would just be unhappy with me, you will never experience marital bliss with me."

" Why can't you love someone, Jungkook?" Taehyung asks.

" B-because, because I love Namjoon."
Jungkook says hesitantly.

" But he is not here anymore, you have to move on from him at some point of time, holding onto this kind of love will just hurt you."

"I know, but how can I, I don't even know where to start from." Jungkook says a tear slipping down his eyes.

Taehyung squeezes his hands in reassurance.

" I don't know, I have never fell in love with someone." Taehyung says

"That doesn't help you know" the king replies whining.

" Jungkook, the very first thing you have to do is let go of his memories, atleast i am sure of that part." Taehyung suggests.

" But how?" Jungkook whines once again

" I don't know, I guess that's for you to figure out." Taehyung says.

" ..."

" Jungkook, someday your heart will give up truly on Namjoon, but for that you have to try, I know loving someone can't be helped but if that someone hurts you, you should be able to let go. I know it would take time, and i would wait for that time.

And maybe just maybe when you're finally ready, we can give each other a chance."

Jungkook looks at Taehyung shocked.

'he thinks we should give each other a chance.'

' but his thoughts are legitimate, ofcourse he would at some point in his life would expect affection from his husband'

' That means he would expect affection from me.'

The thought unsettlels Jungkook and makes him ponder. Expectations upon expectations are piling up on him.

Expectation to be a good ruler.
Expectation to give up on his love.
Expectation to provide a heir.
Expectation to love his husband.

But all of these are legitimate right? There is nothing wrong in these expectations, he signed up for for this when he claimed the throne.
He pledged his life for the people of his country.

However loving his husband is not required to become a good king.
He didn't sign up for this when he became the king but he did sign up for this when he married.

" Jungkook, no matter how hard I try to accept the fact, that you love someone else and probably can never love me, it does pain me.

I have already accepted you as my husband for the rest of my life, the vows that I took are not reversible for me, I will always abide by it.

And it is upto you when you will be ready to abide by your vows.

But just remember that I would never force you , i would respect whatever your decision will be and it would never ever affect our friendship, however I do expect you to love me whole heartedly someday." Taehyung says confidently, looking Jungkook in his eyes.

Taehyung kisses Jungkook forehead and stands up.

" Are you coming?" Taehyungs asks while extending his hands towards Jungkook.

He feels that dumping his expectations on Jungkook was a bad idea, but he can't seem to regret it. He knew his feelings for Jungkook were changing day by day. He accepts that he is attracted towards his Hyung. His heart was already comfortable with the idea it was just his mind forcing him to give up on it, but he refused to so and finally accepted what his heart desires.
He accepted the fact that he likes Jungkook.

Jungkook takes his hands and stands up. However when Taehyung starts walking Jungkook tugs on his hands.

Taehyung looks at him, confusion and worry visible on his face at Jungkook's teary eyes.

Suddenly Jungkook is hugging Taehyung, crying in the crook of his neck, trying to hide in Taehyungs embarce.

Taehyung immediately returns the embrace , strokes his back and tries to comfort him.

"W-what if you grow tired of me?" Jungkook hiccups.

" why would I grow tired of you?" Taehyung deep voice soothes the ache in Jungkook's heart.

" I-i w-want to move on, I do want to l-love again, b-but what if you grow tired of waiting for me." Jungkook asks doubtfully.

Taehyung hearts swells with pride at Jungkook's effort and his willingness move on.

" I would never grow tired you Jungkook, you're my Hyung , I would never leave you." Taehyung reassures Jungkook

Jungkook doubts are erased at Taehyung statement.

"I would try to love again, but if it is only with you, I trust only you."

I can't explain how giddy I felt while writing this chapter. Like aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.
