⚜️56: Banter⚜️

"Hyung...slow down" Taehyung calls breathlessly. He beats himself a little, he now regrets not delivering the message of Namjoon's health a little more carefully. In his own feelings of worry he barged in the news of Namjoon's poison resurfacing to Jungkook in a single breath, causing the king to become restless and run towards the infirmary.

"Hyung..." Taehyung calls once again but Jungkook doesn't hear any of his voice and barges in the infirmary.
Everyone's attention gets focused on the man that just barged in, not so pleasently through the door.
His breath comes out ragged, patting his own chest a little he tries to form words.

"Hyung..." Taehyung soon follows Jungkook , his own state no different than Jungkook.

"Greetings your highness" every servant immediately falls on their knees to greet the royals, but the said men do not care about the servants and walks towards the infirmary bed.

"Hyung...." Jungkook says breathlessly his call directed towards Namjoon.

"Yea.." Namjoon whispers tiredly, sitting on the infirmary bed with the support of a pillow, his face morphed in an expression of pain.

Taehyung sighs in relief as he hears Namjoon answering Jungkook's calls.

"How are you Hyung? What happened? Why didn't anyone tell us sooner? Are you ok? Do you feel okay now?..."

"Calm down" Seokjin interjects Jungkook's ramble.

"He is fine..." Seokjin says calmly.
"Maids give the princes some water" Seokjin orders as he sees both of the male still trying to catch their breaths.

"What happened? When did this happen? Will you tell us?" Taehyung asks as he pats Jungkook's back.

"He is fine. The poison resurfaced but we were able to tend to him on time, nothing happened. Calm down both of you, will you? Seokjin replies.

"Why didn't anyone inform us, and when did this happen?" Taehyung asks again.

"I told you to calm down, and take a seat. I will tell you everything" Seokjin reprimands Taehyung, making his younger brother pout and quietly take a seat on a chair.

"Jungkook" Seokjin says and Jungkook nods as he takes a seat too.

" He is fine now. His poison resurfaced at night at around 3 am, fortunately I was awake at the time and noticed him fainting. I brought him to the infirmary and the physician tended to him. He woke up a few hours ago, he is still delirious but will soon be healthy.
No need to worry. He is out of danger" Seokjin informs them.

"Why didn't you inform us a little early, it's almost evening and he fainted at 3 am in the morning" Taehyung says.

"Well what do you want me to do? Send in a maid in your chamber when you guys are busy in your shenanigans" Seokjin says frustrated at his brother's pestering.

Jungkook blushes Scarlet at Seokjin's wording, but Taehyung doesn't look like he is in a mood to calm down.

"What shenganins? He fainted at 3 in the morning Hyung and you didn't think it was necessary to inform us, if i hadn't gone in his chamber to check on him, i wouldn't have known about his condition. What if something happened to him?" Taehyung says his voice, rising a little bit

"Well nothing happened to him, he is totally fine and it's not like you guys are capable of taking care of him. The physician will tend to him not you, so I informed the people who were necessary. " Seokjin says.

"You don't think we are necessary in his life to know about his condition" Taehyung objects.

"Not necessary enough" Seokjin answers without a delay.

"What do you mean Hyung, we are his acquaintances and guardian, the only person he is familiar with is Jungkook, we have a right to know." Taehyung says

"Last time I checked Jungkook isn't his family." Seokjin says and that statement shuts up Taehyung.

"Hyung...!" Jungkook says, hurt by Seokjin's wordings.

Seokjin takes a deep breath to calm himself down. Realising he must have overstepped his boundaries he mumbles a small sorry to Jungkook.

"It's fine for this time but please next time tell us if anything happens to Namjoon." Jungkook says and Seokjin nods half heartily.

"Your royal highness please if you don't mind please continue your conversation out of the infirmary, loud noises can disturb Namjoon" the physician says his expression a little sour due to the inconsiderate behaviour of the brothers.

Seokjin nods and steps out of the infirmary, Taehyung follows him out as well however Jungkook Stays behind to talk with the physician..

"I am sorry" Seokjin mumbles to Taehyung as he sees his puffed out cheeks completely displeasured because of the earlier argument.

"Hmmmpph.." Taehyung turns away from Seokjin and Seokjin sighs at Taehyung's childish antics.

"Ok...keep your mood sour. I don't care" Seokjin says as he himself turns around. Both the brothers start walking in opposite directions even though their chambers are in the same direction.

Seokjin curses his faith a little and turns on his heels to go towards his chamber.
Taehyung smiles slyly as he sees Seokjin following him, he slows down a little bit to let him catch up, but frowns when the king ignores him and walks ahead of him.

"Yaah...say sorry" He shouts. Seokjin laughs out loud and starts running as Taehyung follows him, both the brothers chase each other, running around in the hallways....

"It's time to act on the next step, Jungkook has been successfully dethroned, Min yoongi has resigned from his post and there is no news about Hawk. Jungkook isn't in Alavania, this a perfect time to attack on Alavania." The servant reads out the letter to his master.

The said master nods his head and takes a whiff of opium.

"Ji-ho... Do you think we should rely on Ji-ho....he has done a good job in getting Jungkook dethroned. From kidnapping Namjoon to killing Jungkook's child... He did a good job...
I should thank him personally, get my carriage ready..." The master says, making the servant nod....
