It was dark, so dark that he couldn't even see his own hand even if he tried to, and he really doesn't wanna make an effort to actually try to see his hand or for that matter any part of his body. Moreover he can feel his entire body in a gut wrenching pain and stiffness, it's as if he is dead and lying in a coffin but has somehow managed to open his eyes.

However he is feeling thirsty and desperately wants to drink some water. He tries to turn his neck but fails to do so, as the slow movement brings immensable pain in his head.
Unintentionally a soft hiss leaves his lips due to the headache.

"Oh you woke up?" Namjoon hears a very soft voice of a woman, asking him tenderly and it brings tears to his eyes, he hasn't heard anyone talk to him with such tenderness in months.

Tears after tears fall out of his eyes as his senses overwhelm him.
Due to the pain that envelopes his entire being.
Due to the feeling of helplessness.
Due to despair.
Due to fear.
He tries to once again move his body but gives up immediately.

"Ohmo, don't cry let me call head physician" the woman's voice once again falls in his ears but he can't seem to comprehend her words.

Even though his body is covered in blankets, but he can feel the cold and his mind forces him to believe that he is once again in Dernia lying beside Ji-Ho after the man has "made love to him" as Ji-ho likes to say, the excruciating pain in his body conforming his doubts.

A painful whimper falls out of his mouth, due to sudden sting that he feels in his arms, and slowly he feels his body feeling numb and paralyzed.

"Calm down, you need to rest a little more" Namjoon hears a man's voice and feels a cold sensation on his forehead. He involuntarily relaxes at the cold sensation, and just now realizes that his whole body also felt like it was burning up.

"Can you hear my voice, If yes just blink your eyes, no need to move your body" Namjoon hears once again and blinks his eyes.

"Good, I see... For now just sleep ok" Namjoon hears and he immediately closes his eyes and feels himself falling into dreamland.

"He woke up earlier than expected, the poison even though completely out of his body, will still leave some side-effects" the physician says to no one in particular and starts making a concoction to apply on Namjoon's bruised body, that seems to be healing very slowly.

After making sure that every herb was in right proportion, the physician turns around and ignites the fire place to keep the room warm, as he is going to apply the medicine to Namjoon.

He removes the blankets covering Namjoon and hisses again as he sees the horrendous bruises. Till now he has seen and treated countless injured people, but most of them were soldiers, so their bruised body didn't phase him. But Namjoon is not a soldier and the bruises in his body are sign of pure abuse and violence. The physician can easily say that the man has been raped continuously for God knows how many days, the marks on his body are a clear giveaway of that.

The physician softly applies the red coloured medicine with the help of a brush on Namjoon's bruises, before sticking bandages on them. The physician turns Namjoon around with great difficulty and doing the same to his back.

After tending to Namjoon for around half and hour the man sighs heavily, feeling his heart breaking for the man lying on the bed.

"His majesty is entering" the physician hears the announcement and hastily covers Namjoon, and immediately sits on his knees to show respect to the king.

Seokjin soon enters through the doors of infirmary and acknowledges the physician.

"How is he?" Seokjin's intimidating voice reaches the physician ears.

"He just woke up an hour ago, but still his body has not recovered, hence I gave him some sleeping medicines and tended to his wounds" the physician informs still not standing form his place.

"Hmm, till when he would be fit to wake up" Seokjin says, glancing at Namjoon's relaxed features as he sleeps.

"Probably around 1 more week, your royal highness" the physician says.

Seokjin nods
"Your quarters are far from the infirmary hence, shift near Namjoon, that would be more convenient in future"

Seokjin orders making the physician nod.

Seokjin steps close to the sleeping male, feeling pity for him, the man is younger than him, but still it looks like he is way older than Seokjin.

He talked to Taehyung about Namjoon's situation and the prince informed each and everything he knew about Namjoon. The physician also told him about Namjoon getting raped, and that saddened him even more.

Seokjin is Taehyung's cousin, specifically Seokjin's father was younger than Taehyung's father. Seokjin has never seen his father, heck for the first 5 years of his life he didn't even knew that he was a prince. His father had raped his mother and his mother abandoned Seokjin in an orphanage, as she didn't want to raise Seokjin and constantly get reminded of her misery. But his mother was kind enough to hand him over to an orphanage and visit him once every week.

His father however was a different case and knew that he had a child, and somehow found him and took him to the palace all without his mother's knowledge.
His mother was furious, as she was finally ready to raise Seokjin on her own. She accused Seokjin's father and plead for justice to the former king, Seokjin's grandfather.

The former king learning about his sons sins beheaded him infront of the entire court and granted Seokjin and his mother royal status.

Even though Seokjin was older than Taehyung by 5 years but still the throne didn't belong to him due to being classified as illegitimate son. And honestly Seokjin didn't care about sitting on the throne, however as they grew up Taehyung also disliked sitting on the throne and after his father's death handed over the throne to Seokjin.

Seokjin knew how much his mother had suffered because of his father's action and he always found himself having a soft spot for rape victims. Even though Eucon was better than before and rape was now almost non-existent due to the the gruesome punishment made by Seokjin for rapists. But still he can't have control over the whole world, and his heart goes out for Namjoon's misery...
