⚜️41:The King Isn't Absent⚜️

"You dare say a word about dethroning order, and i will make sure to behead you with my bare hands"
Hoseok seethes...

Bong Cha stumbles on her feet, trying to remove Hoseok's death grip around her neck as she feels her airways cutting off.

The guards immediately latch on to Hoseok to free Bong Cha, however Hoseok doesn't budge instead tightens his grip around Bong Cha, her eyes roll back into head.

"Hobi, no" Yoongi's voice breaks Hoseok's trance and he loes his hands around Bong Cha. He looks at her and starts laughing like a maniac, while tear drops fall out of his eyes.

His laughter soon turns into a heart wrenching cry as he falls into his knees.
Yoongi immediately joins him on the ground, holding him.
"Why him? Why him everytime?" Hoseok cries out at someone else's suffering... He cries out at the suffering of his brother.
"I promised Haneul i would Keep him safe... I failed...I failed" he cried.

"You...you..cough... Tried to kill me...
Guards put him in the dungeons" Bong cha's voice boom in the compound.

However no guard makes an effort to do so.
"GUARDS" she shouts.

"We take orders from the king, not you" Yoongi says glaring at Bong Cha.

Bong Cha face paints red in embarrassment.
"I am a royal family member, in the absence of king you take order from me" she retorts.

"THE KING ISN'T ABSENT" Hoseok shouts.

"There is no king now, Jungkook's dethroning order has prevailed... He couldn't provide an heir... He is no longer the king of Alvania" Bong Cha says again. "We will hold a court right now..."

"You can't hold a court right now...
1/3rd of ministry is not in the capital"
Yoongi objects.

"The court can be held even with 1/3rd ministry... And for passing dethroning order ministry is not required in the first place itself...." Bong Cha smiles.
"Start the preparations... I want the court ready in 1 hour" she says and leaves the compound.
Jaehyun following her trails.

(Same time in Serafina, governor's Park bogum residence)

" Please don't be quiet anymore and come back. I hope you've found the necessary evidences. You need to come back or it will be too late"

Princess Mina reads the letter, and sighs heavily. She doesn't want to return back. But times are saying something else and she knows this time she would have to return.

Bogum stands beside her.
"What happened?" He asks softly.

"It's a letter... looks like I would have to return soon" she says, and pushes herself in his arms.

Bogum nods and returns her embrace.
"Till when you will run away, someday or other you had to face it" he says as he pecks her forehead.
Mina nods her head.
"Thank you for saving me" Mina thanks bogum for the umpteenth time.
And bogum as always frowns before saying " you don't have to thank me for loving you" he says as ke kisses her gently.

Mina and Bogum had quite an unexpected love story.
Bong Cha wedded of Mina at the age of 16 to Bogum's father, who was 48 at the time and Bogum was 18.
The fact that Bogum's father married a girl even younger than his son was so shameful.
This was only possible because both Bong Cha and his father weren't good people.

Bogum's father was a cruel man, he abused Mina, And tried to kill her when he got to know she was having an affair with Bogum. But bogum somehow killed his own father and saved Mina.
Later he married Mina himself.

Their love story is still a controversy for people of Serafina however their kindness outweighs it.

"We should leave tomorrow morning" Mina says, "oppa is pregnant I want to visit him."

"Sure" Bogum says.

(It usually takes around 4 days to travel from Serafina to Capital)

(Back in Alvania, court)

Bong Cha was sitting on her throne, Yoongi and Hoseok and some other ministers as well. Jaehyun however was a different case, he was nowhere in sight.

"As you all know, as per the dethroning order, the king wasn't able to provide a heir to the kingdom by the age of 26.
Hence the dethroning order prevails..

The throne of Alavania is now empty.
As soon as Jungkook recovers he will hand over the crown to me" she says smirking. Satiated that the dethroning order has finally passed.

"I object it..." Yoongi interrupts.

"You can't... The law doesn't give you the authority to object a royal family member on dethroning order" one of the other minister says.

"If the crown is passed down to Bong Cha, i would no longer serve the country" Yoongi says.

Everyone present in the hall gasps at Yoongi's statement.
Yoongi has the highest postion in the entire ministry as the Army and Naval cheif of Alvania. Other than the personal army of ministers, the entire army of Alavania report to him.
He has served Alavania for 12 years and him resigning would result in a huge setback for the kingdom.

His decision would surely result in Bong Cha considering his decision, surely she wouldn't jeopardize Alavania's security right. Or will she?

"You are free to resign any time you want" Bong Cha says further, shocking the ministry. She has finally gone crazy in her greed.

Yoongi chuckles at her statement.
So it's finally over there is nothing he can do now.

"You are one greedy women Bong Cha, in your greed you are even ready to jeopardize Alavania..." He says

"I am not jeopardizing Alavania... I would appoint a new army chief, even bettere than you" she says.

"Good luck finding someone better than me" Yoongi says as he exits the court.

Bong Cha eyes shine in satisfaction, now she can finally have the throne all to herself.

"Jung Hoseok, you tried to kill me... And people are witness of it... I sentence you to prison... Your proceedings will start once I am Crowned" she says and immediately a personal guard of a minister arrests him. Hoseok doesn't protest and goes with the guard

"Congratulations Your highness, my loyalty lies with you" the governor of sicaraz says, his voice soon joined by some other ministers.

While the remaining ministers have their foreheads wrinkled in worry.
