Highs and lows are a part of life, nobody in this materialistic world has ever been able to escape the rules of the world.
The same goes for Jungkook.

When he was a child, the time that he spent with his parents and brother were his highs and his low was when they all died one by one, his parents due to sickness and his brother martyred.

He was all alone, and then came his first love Namjoon, his love for Namjoon was pure and innocent but in the end Namjoon also left him, however not due to death, but because Namjoon chose to betray Jungkook.

Jungkook was once again broken but he knew how to grieve, he knew the pain of being left all alone in this cruel world. But Taehyung was just right by his side first as a friend and then as his life partner. Jungkook has loved Taehyung like he has never before, he has given Taehyung parts of himself that he has never before.

And Jungkook knew this is his high, being with Taehyung is his high, his happiness, the happiest he has ever been.

But this world is cruel and the rule of the world has never bent for anyone, so it will also not bend for the high and almighty king of Alavania, Jeon Jungkook. So his low will also come and it will come in the form of his previous lover.

Namjoon has been quiet, very quiet. The last time Ji-ho remembers him speaking was maybe when he asked Ji-ho 'why did you take me away from Jungkook?'
And Ji-ho sadisticaly replied 'because I love you'

And since then Namjoon, has been quiet.
He doesn't question Ji-ho.
He doesn't scream in pain no matter how much Ji-ho torments him.
He doesn't object.
He just accepts.

He just accepts that he has no one in this world, no one to take care of him.

Namjoon, from as early as he can remember, has always taken care of himself.
As a child he started working in the fields with the farmers just to get a loaf of bread to fill his stomach.
As a teenager he remembers doing hard labour to afford a roof over his head.
And as an adult he remembers selling flowers and medicinal herbs to make a living for himself.

His entire life he has prayed to God to reunite him with his family and to receive just a speck of love from someone, from anyone.

And when he finally got the love he craved for, from Jungkook, fate snatched it away.
Fate has played and is still playing a game with him.
He left the only person who cared for him, who loved him and for what? For his family. For a family that never existed in the first place.

He has lost the hope of being loved anymore. But he still craves it, he is still hungry for love and in order to satiate his hunger for love he will learn lo lick it off a knife.
He will learn to accept the twisted, tainted love that Ji-Ho claims to have for Namjoon.

"Remember Namjoon I am the only one who loves you, I am the only one you have" Ji-ho says to Namjoon, as he thrusts painfully hard into Namjoon.

"I know, I love you " Namjoon says, pulling in Ji-Ho for a kiss. Trying to subdue the physical pain that his body is suffering from.

Ji-Ho bites down Namjoon's lips harshly, making them bleed.
Namjoon's body jerks uncomfortably when he feels Ji-ho releasing in himself.

He doesn't like this feeling, but to feel Ji-ho's love he would do it, he would do anything to feel even an ounce of love.

"Hey don't sleep, i have a surprise to give to you" Ji-ho alerts Namjoon, when he sees the said man dozing off.

Namjoon's eyes immediately fly open at Ji-ho's words.

He should obey Ji-ho, he doesn't want to be whipped again today.

"You are such a good boy now, listen to me and i will give you what you want ok"
Ji-Ho says putting on in his robe.

Namjoon nods and also puts on his robe. He sees as two guards enter into their chamber.

"Greetings your highness, all the arrangements have been made" one of the guard says.

" Hmm, good.... darling do you want to go on a ride" Ji-Ho asks, softly, his voice dripping with sweet venom as he carreses Namjoon's cheeks.

Namjoon nuzzles into his palm "Where to?"

"Didn't I just told you not to ask me questions?" Ji-Ho slaps Namjoon, making him fall on the bed.

"I am sorry, please don't hate me" Namjoon sits up immediately, hugging Ji-ho "I won't repeat, don't hate me, you love me" Namjoon says reminding Ji-ho of his love.

"I do love you darling, but you see. You are no longer of any use to me." Ji-Ho detaches himself from Namjoon and sits on one of the chairs in the chamber.

Namjoon looks at him dumbfoundly.
Ji-Ho cracks up Namjoon's expression.
"You see, I trapped you because I wanted Jungkook to not get married to you, ultimately i didn't want him to have a child so that the Queen Bong Cha could pass a dethroning order against him.

Everything happened as expected but that wench married and opened his legs for someone else, and now he is pregnant.

My plan failed Namjoon. My plan failed"
Ji-Ho says like shouting like a maniac, making Namjoon flinch in his place

" So now you have no use to me, but still I want to gamble on you one more time , I will send you to Alvania, on the brink of death and then I will see what that lover of yours will do." Ji-Ho smiles as he isn't just talking about possibly killing Namjoon.

"But you love me" Namjoon says brokenly, he feels even the last bit of his heart falling into pieces.

"As expected you're dumb" Ji-ho says as he sees one of the gaurds injecting slow poison in Namjoon's body.

"Please don't do this, let me be happy" Namjoon whispers, pleading Ji-Ho to stop whatever he is doing, holding onto a little bit of his sanity, as he feels falling into a deep sleep.

" Be careful while slipping into the palace of Alavania, this is my last chance. If we fail this time it's over for us. Alavania is already planning an attack on us" Ji-Ho says reminding both the guards about their plan.

"Rest assured your highness, we will make sure to give Jeon Jungkook wormwood" one of the guard, Minhyuk says.
(Wormwood is a herb that can be responsible for miscarriage)

"No matter what the circumstances get Jungkook shouldn't be killed, or else the throne will be passed to Jeon Taehyung"
(Jeon Taehyung because after the crowning of Taehyung he took the Jeon title )

Finally the fluff part is over its time for some action now.

And I would like to explains few things again.

1st- Ji-ho trapped Namjoon as he wanted Jungkook not to have an heir and get dethroned. But his plan failed as Jungkook was able to counter dethroning order.

2nd- Dernia is nowhere as strong as Alavania, that's why they retort to dirty tricks. Like infiltrating Alvania etc.
Ji-Ho knows if there will be a war Dernia will lose for sure, so he is trying to dethrone Jungkook indirectly.

3rd- Ji-ho's plan is to send Namjoon to Alvania, and slip some people in palace of Alavania to give Jungkook wormwood, ultimately making him miscarry.
