Day 5 of 15

After their kiss yesterday, he didn't want to face Taehyung. Jumbled up in his feelings and emotions so much, that he forgot he promised Taehyung to visit the trenashia forest. And now he is feeling regretful, he knows how easily younger could feel lonely and ignored and he did just that. He ignored Taehyung, however that wasn't his intention. He just wanted a little bit of space to think about his feelings towards Taehyung.

So he found himself in his brother's palace after practice. He sat there just thinking.

He loves Namjoon, or maybe used to love him, he just doesn't know anymore. He respected him, trusted him and practically gave him everything he had to offer. But the said man left him just before their wedding, shattering his trust and heart into million pieces. Still he respected Namjoon and loved him, thinking that he would never be able to let him go. But now he is getting married to King of Drenia and finally Jungkook lost all the respect he had for him. Maybe that was the last straw for him, losing respect for Namjoon.

He is conflicted about why he is able to have these feelings towards Taehyung that he once had towards Namjoon this soon, but this time the intensity and speed of it is way faster and stronger. Maybe it's because he trusts Taehyung and knows that his bear, is never going to hurt him and now unintentionally he is wearing his heart on his sleeves, ready to hand it over to Taehyung any moment now.

Yes it's simple he no longer trusts and respects Namjoon hence he no longer loves him. And now he is finally ready to open his heart and mind to love Taehyung.

He reaches this conclusion and leaves his brother's palace at around 3 am in the morning.

Entering his chamber he notices that Taehyung is not in the chamber. He crossed the pond and garden on his way here, so he is sure that Taehyung is not there as well. His mind immediately reminds him that maybe the said male is in his oh so precious art room, that makes him lose all his senses and hypnotises him so much to make him lose himself as well.

"Taehyung, can I come in" he asks softly, but hearing no reply, he enters in the art room nonetheless.

He notices that Taehyung is sleeping on the ground, curled up in a ball and shivering from the cold in just his white cotton shirt and pants without any duvet to cover him on this cold night.

Concern fills his body to the brim and he immediately removes his heavy velvet cloak to cover Taehyung's shivering body.

Jungkook sits beside him on the ground, covering his body and cradling the prince's head, in his lap. Taehyung nuzzles Jungkook's stomach and sighs.

"U came back" he murmurs half awake and half asleep.

"Hmm..." Jungkook hums freeing Taehyung hairs from their restraint and combs his hair with his fingers, scratching his scalp.

"That feels nice" Taehyung comments

"Why are you here, on the ground?" Jungkook questions softly, tracing his eyes on Taehyung's features and landing on his lips for a brief second.

"It felt lonely in the chambers, without you." He answers immediately, turning his head so that he can look in the king's eyes.

" Then you could've slept in any of the guest rooms" Jungkook says, still stroking his hairs.

"No it feels lonely everywhere, without you this whole palace feels lonely." Taehyung says his voice cracking.

"I am sorry for that" Jungkook says regretfully.

"Why do you always avoid me, you know i hate it," Taehyung says now sitting up and facing jungkook properly. The velvet cloak falling off of his body, on the ground.

"I am sorry bear" Jungkook says again.

"And I am sorry for kissing you, if that's what forcing you away from me i would never do it again, I promise." Taehyung says and distances himself a little from Jungkook.

Jungkook gets alerted immediately, a displeased frown etching on his face. Grasping Taehyung's hand, he pulls him close to him again and engulfs him in a hug.

"No, I kissed you, and no I would never push you away for responding to a kiss I initiated, I was just perplexed and wanted some space to think about you, about us." Jungkook says cradling Taehyung's head close to his chest.

"I thought you were angry with me, you left without a word and didn't come back after court, didn't even take me to trenashia." The prince says sulking, relieved that his thoughts of Jungkook pushing him away once again was wrong.

Oh how quickly Taehyung's emotions changes , from sadness to apologetic to sulking in just a fraction of the time.

"I am sorry again for that, I would take you to Trenashia tomorrow I would do some extra work today to take you out tomorrow, ok." Jungkook reassures, cupping the prince's face and detaching him from his chest, glancing in his brown orbs.

"Promise" Taehyung pouts and Jungkook coos, squeezing his breads cheeks even more.

"Promise" Jungkook says pecking prince's forehead

" hmmm.." Taehyung yawns sleepily.

Jungkook chuckles at Taehyung's behaviour, his heart bursting with happiness, Forgetting every stress and confliction he has in his mind.

"C'mon my sleepy bear let's take you to bed..."

Sorry for the late update, my classes are getting hectic day by day and I finally took out some time today to write ✍️....

I feel like as soon as you lose respect for someone you're over them and what's left is just lessons to take from the experience.

At least that's how I moved on from my toxic partner.

And btw here is my pet rabbit 'miku' glaring at me, because he got his grass late today.😮‍💨😮‍💨
