⚜️42:Dethroned⚜️

Two days have passed since the incident of Jungkook getting poisoned and the dethroning order being passed.

When Jungkook woke up, he didn't cry, didn't shout just laid there looking around the room, it was as if his gut was telling him what happened, but still he asked Taehyung about his children and Taehyung slowly and carefully informed him about the child.

Taehyung thought Jungkook would go hysterical but his reaction surprised him.
He has never seen Jungkook this quite, not even when his parents and his brother died. Taehyung also took a little back foot, he himself coping up with the loss and helping Jungkook recover from the surgery.

They both have been cooped up in their chamber, their palace like a dark Abyss in which both the men have drowned in.
They also got to know about the dethroning order being passed and still Jungkook didn't react, he just requested one thing from Taehyung and that was
'after this I want to go Eucon ' that's what Jungkook asked and Taehyung agreed without any hesitation.

So now both of them were getting some of their belongings packed to leave for Eucon this morning after handing over the throne to Bong Cha.
To say that Bong Cha was ecstatic would be an understatement, she never thought Jungkook would agree this easily without any resistance.

"Your highness, may I come in" Jungkook hears the voice of the personal maid.

"Yes" Taehyung replies.

Soon the maid in her early fifties enters the chambers, with a small red box in her hands.

"The court is ready for your highness" she says in a heavy voice.

Taehyung nods on Jungkook's behalf.

The maid instead of leaving the chambers instead slowly sits down on her knees, her eyes shedding silent tears.

"I am sorry for my brazenness, your highness, but please don't give up on us." She says pleading Jungkook.
"I know it must be hard for you, losing a child is a big deal but your highness every kid in this kingdom is safe and sound because of you, if you leave us there will be no one to look after us" she cries.

"I couldn't protect my child, how can I protect anyone else's child", Jungkook says in a small voice.

The maid shakes her head, Jungkook helps her on her feet.

"Halmeoni you have taken care of me, like your child and right now your child is just tired, I want to rest so let me rest..." He says taking the red box from her, opening it and seeing two pairs of white mittens in them.
He smiles sadly, at his fate, how unfortunate he is to not even have a chance to look at his child.

"Let's leave" Jungkook says making Taehyung nod his head, before they both exit their chamber. The maid cries intensifies as he she sees Jungkook and Taehyung leaving their palace.

It's true that if something doesn't belong to you, no matter how hard you try to hold it, it will always skip out of your hands.

The same thing goes for Jungkook, the throne of Alavania wasn't his, it was of his brother, Haneul. And for the sake of his brother he tried to hold on to the throne.

And now as the New queen gets crowned once again, his beliefs are just becoming more stronger.

Bong Cha smiles widely when the crown gets placed on her head.

"What will be your first order Queen ?" The priest asks monotonously, following the rituals, where a newly crowned king/Queen make their first order. The priest is not at all happy that she was the one who Crowned Bong Cha, now she would have to repent just for standing in the same vicinity as Bong Cha.

"My first order, as only the king or queen and the crowned prince are allowed to keep long hairs, I think so Jungkook should chop off his waist length hair now" she says smirking.

Everyone in the court room gasps at her audacity.

However, Taehyung stands up from his place, takes Jungkook's hands and starts walking out of the courtroom.

"Jeon Taehyung, didn't you hear my order" Her voice makes Taehyung halt in his place.

Taehyung turns around with a ferocious glint in his eyes.
"It's Jeon Kim Taehyung, and even better it's the crowned prince of Eucon,
For everyone who seems to forget my power" his voice booms in the courtroom. No one has ever seen Taehyung like this, with such a powerful aura around him, that seems to consume the entire courtroom.

"Your Eucon status doesn't influence
Alavania's court" Bong Cha replies sassily.

"Then it looks like it should, don't forget Queen Bong Cha if I want I can declare a war on Alavania for the disrespect my husband has suffered in this court, and belive me, my brother and me will make sure to have your head on platter for your audacity. Be thankful that Kim Seokjin doesn't know about the idiocy of yours" Taehyung says in an authoritative voice.

" You dare disrespect the throne of Alavania" she shouts.

"AND YOU DARE DISRESPECT MY HUSBAND" Taehyung shouts back his deep voice echoing in the courtroom.
"I have been quiet this entire time. But you have crossed all your limits, you passed a dethroning order, when my husband was coping up with a huge loss, and now you sit on the throne unjustly. But I promise you Bong Cha, I will make sure to have you on my feet, begging for my mercy... While my husband sits mighty on his throne.
Count your days!"

Taehyung says as he exits the court along with Jungkook.

"Did you see his audacity, does he think Eucon can win a war against Alvania." Bong Cha says angrily.

"He is right, Eucon can win a war against Alvania and that also very easily. Eucon sits quietly because it's a peaceful country, but if The king of Eucon gets to know about the disrespect his brother has faced here he wouldn't think twice before attacking Alavania. I am seriously done with this court's idiocy, I don't want to serve in a court where its people's voices aren't heard and the throne is occupied unjustly by a greedy woman in her fifties just because she is an immature bitch, who is hungry for power" one of the governors shouts.

Bong Cha's face turns red in anger.
"You are right, the people of this country are crying for its king and there is no one to hear them. What's the point of us, if our opinion doesn't matter. No matter how hard we protest, a dumb royal family member will occupy the throne as if it's their family jewellery" another one pipes in.

"You're correct, I can't with this anymore. I am resigning, good luck handling the country on your own your highness" several voices of another minister echo in the court of Alavania.

And when the voices finally quite down there are just 3 ministers left in the courtroom.
