⚜️34:Paintings ⚜️

It's said that when you're happy and content time flies by faster. And it's true Jungkook can feel that whenever he is with Taehyung his time flies faster, although he wishes to be just stuck in those beautiful moments, that simply can't happen, time has never stopped for anyone nor will it stop for anyone.
So here he was already in his last trimester.

Just one of these days Jungkook was thinking what made him fall in love with Taehyung so easily. Maybe it was the fact that they knew each other from childhood and comforted each other in their hard times, maybe it was the fact that Jungkook trusted the younger so easily as he knew Taehyung can never hurt him, because the younger was just so pure to even harm an insect, maybe it was the respect he harbored for the younger , maybe it was the fact that Taehyung understood him so easily, maybe it was because the younger comforted him so easily or it was completely something else. Jungkook doesn't know and he doesn't want to know, he just knows that Taehyung is his home, is his comfort, is his protection, Taehyung is his love.
He just knows that he loves Taehyung how? when? where? All of these things doesn't matter.

And for the first time in his life, he is content and genuinely happy. So happy that he can feel it in every fiber of his body. He has everything he ever desired, he has a loving husband, who dotes on him every chance he gets. He is pregnant and is due in 2 months, soon he will be able to hold his children in his arms. Yes children, nearing the end of his second trimester, Yeonjun told him that he is carrying twins.
The physician was concerned seeing the size of the king's bump, his extra swelled feet and excessive complaints of tiredness. So he ran a few more extra tests and informed the prince and king about him carrying twins.
The prince and king as expected were ecstatic, they were receiving way more than they ever asked for, it's like God was showering them with happiness for each and every hardship they have faced till now.

Due to Jungkook's tiredness and morning sickness he was advised not to exert any kind of stress on his body and mind, and now as he was carrying twins the chances of miscarriage were also very high. Yeonjun warned Jungkook not to do anything that will jeopardize his health and in the end will cost him his children.

So Jungkook stepped down a little bit from his responsibilities and handed them over to Taehyung after all his husband is the second king of Alavania.
Even though Taehyung's heart and mind were in his art, his intelligence was no less than that of Jungkook, he was handling the kingdom effectively and efficiently. But at the end of the day Jungkook knew that Taehyung was not cut out to handle a Kingdom, so he felt guilty for dumping such huge responsibilities on Taehyung, however Taehyung was quick to reassure him that for Jungkook he would do anything, and handling the kingdom for few months was nothing.

But whenever Jungkook stopped by in Taehyung's art room, he would feel guilty when he would notice no new art pieces. And today was one of those days.

Jungkook was in Taehyung's art room while the latter was in the courtroom. In there 8 months of marriage Taehyung has painted so many more paintings, apart from his own personal collection of Jungkook's lips, chest, eyes, his back, his long hair, his ankles and many more, the newest addition was his baby bump. Taehyung painted Jungkook's bump when he has 5 months pregnant and after that the younger didn't have time to paint. So from the past 2 months there hasn't been any new addition in Taehyung's personal collection or any of his commercial paintings.
The last collection he sold, was called 'first kiss' which was of course inspired by none other than the forest of Trenashia. Taehyung named the collection as the first kiss because the couple shared their first kiss in Trenashia.

Jungkook was admiring each one of Taehyung's paintings. Jungkook loved Taehyung's commercial paintings.
Taehyung's genre was landscapes.
His paintings consisted of wide ranges of landscapes, some showings complete serenity, some showing complete chaos and most showing a mixture of both. In the market Taehyung was known for his desert landscape and battle landscape paintings, and Jungkook can see the appeal in it, it was like Taehyung was painting his own feelings in the forms of landscapes and his newest collection was also a mirror of his thoughts and emotions, 'first kiss' was Taehyung's feelings that he poured in the form of landscapes.

" Here you are " Jungkook hears Taehyung's voice as he the said man enters the room. "I was searching for you" Taehyung says engulfing Jungkook, his bump preventing them from hugging properly.

Jungkook whines, feeling discomfort as he smells Taehyung's sweat.
"You smell Taehyung" Jungkook says grimacing pushing Taehyung away from him.

Taehyung laughs at Jungkook's reaction, and steps just a little bit away from him, but nonetheless still holds elder's hands.

"What were you doing here?" Taehyung asks tenderly, although he knows the reason, it's not the first time he has found the king here, Jungkook comes here when he misses Taehyung or just simply feels guilty.

"Nothing just looking at the paintings ?"
Jungkook says rubbing his hand on his bump." Your children were being naughty, not letting me sleep so I came here" he complains.

"Oh were they" Taehyung says kneeling down, tapping Jungkook's belly as if knocking on a door " hello little ones, I hope you're comfortable in their" he says placing a small kiss on Jungkook's bump, making the king giggle.
"Don't be naughty, please don't give your papa a hard time, or else I will spank you guys" Taehyung says in false strictness.

"Huh" Jungkook says as he holds his bump "one of them just kicked" he says fondly.

Taehyung looks up at Jungkook his lips spread in a wide boxy smile. "Really" although it's not the first time one of them has kicked, but whenever it happens it's just as euphoric as the first time. It reassures both Taehyung and Jungkook that there little ones are safe in their.

Jungkook nods at Taehyung "talk to them they listen to you"

"Ohk... Are you guys trying to talk to appa" Taehyung says rubbing his husband's bump and sure enough Jungkook feels kicks again. He intakes a sharp breath as both of them kick at the same time, looks like they're excited to hear their father.

"Ohmo, they kicked, they know I am talking to them" Taehyung says glancing up at Jungkook happily. However Jungkook's face is contracted in that of pain and discomfort, he pushes Taehyung's hands away.

"What happened?" Taehyung asks worriedly, standing up and facing jungkook.

"You make them too excited, and they kicked me as if they are playing football in their" Jungkook says, irritatedly.

Taehyung looks at him in a little panic. Jungkook's mood swings are for sure no joke, one minute he is saying something and in the other minute he is doing something entirely different.

But guess what the prince has to deal with it, because according to Yeonjun.
"With Male pregnancy , extreme mood swings are free of cost" ...

At first I wanted to make this book angsty. But as the book progressed I just dropped that idea. I thought why not make a loving couple who knows how to handle their relationship. Like have you seen the way they communicate, it's just because of communication that they were able to understand each other.
An effective communication makes everything easier, and i learnt that the hard way.

And beware something bigs coming up.....🤭🤭🤭
