Seokjin enters his chambers, a soft smile grazing his lips, as he recalls how flustered Taehyung got.

He looks at the time, noticing it's already 3 am, he would have to wake up in 2 hours and earlier he only slept for 2 hours.
Honestly, the twins are a handful, especially Jung-woo, but that's how infants are, you have to take care of them, their every need.

When a child is born it's not just a parent's responsibility to raise them, society is also responsible for providing a healthy and safe environment for a child to explore and grow up.
A society filled with prejudices and orthodox thinking is a slow poison for its people.

The main reason for Seokjin becoming a king was to bring revolution in the thinking of Eucon. He wanted the people of Eucon to be more accepting and approachable for new ideas.
And he has worked a lot for his goal,
Earlier second marriage was illegal in Eucon no matter of a man or a woman, but Seokjin abolished that law.
And so many other orthodox laws.
He worked for the rights of women and passed very stringent laws to stop rapes in Eucon.

But Namjoon's arrival in his life made him realize that men also get exploited and raped. He knows that his country is also not very accepting of special males and he has been working on it for a long time now, with multiple awareness campaigns being organized to make people aware that special males weren't defective or weak.
Now he has also started working on men's rights, he has ordered his ministry to conduct surveys about the suffering of men, analyze them, and finally draft laws.

As he decides to work instead of sleeping.
He walks towards the balcony of his chambers to stretch a little before starting his day.

The moon shines brightly in the sky, casting its soft glow in the surroundings, he starts his morning routine, and after praying for a little bit,
He looks down at the garden to relax a little.

In the light of the moon, he sees the silhouette of a person in the garden keeping in mind that only four people are living in the inner palace. The silhouette is none other than Namjoon himself.

However the appearance of Namjoon in the garden is not what shocks him, what shocks him is how did the man walked around by himself.

He turns on his heels, finds a robe, and walks out of his chambers to go to his garden.
It's his garden, the one attached to his chamber that Namjoon also has access to, because it's just safer and close to the infirmary if anything happens to Namjoon.

As he enters into garden, the cold breeze awakens goosebumps and makes him shiver.

Not wanting to startle the male, he decides to call the man softly.
"Namjoon-shi," he says,
And Namjoon abruptly turns his head towards Seokjin, he looks at the king without saying anything just staring as to what the man is doing here at this time.

"What are you doing here?"Seokjin asks taking slow careful steps toward Namjoon, he always feels on edge around the man, everyone is on edge around Namjoon except the physician who treated him.

"J-just...", Namjoon takes a shaky breath, his throat clogging up as he recalls his reason for being here.
Sensing Namjoon's discomfort, Seokjin immediately regrets the question he asked Namjoon.

"It's ok...you can stay here if you want to, it's fine," Seokjin says still standing two feet away from the man.

Earlier Namjoon woke up from his slumber just because he heard a distant hooting of an owl, the sound startled him even in his sleep and suddenly it felt to him as though he was lying beside Ji-ho, the darkness in his chamber made his skin prickle with fear and anxiety.

It took him some time to calm down and convince himself that he was in Eucon and there was no way Ji-Ho was lying beside him. But when he tried to sleep all he could imagine and hear was Ji-Ho's words ringing in his ears.
His mind was flooded with Ji-Ho's thoughts, questions that were still left unanswered for him were bothering him. So to calm down himself he decided to stroll around the garden a little, but his legs didn't agree with him and with great difficulty he was just able to reach the garden and sit on a bench to gaze at the stars.
He is not dumb, he knows that Ji-Ho doesn't love him, the man used him, and when he no longer could derive any benefit from him the man simply threw him away.

But why? Why didn't Ji-ho love him?
Namjoon gave him what he wanted, he agreed to everything the man asked of him.
He even agreed when Ji-ho didn't allow him to drink water for two days just because he wanted Namjoon to have a dry throat for some reason.
He accepted Ji-ho after the man trapped him by using a sham family because Ji-ho claimed to love Namjoon.
Then why? Why can't anyone love him, even after he gave up his everything, and surrendered completely.

Isn't he worth it? Yeah, that could be the case, he just isn't worth it. Maybe he isn't attractive, or it's the fact that he is an orphan, or maybe it's just because he is unlovable, or maybe he is stupid as Ji-ho liked to call him, it could be anything.

There has to be something, --something, anything that pushes people away from him.
There has to be a reason that Jungkook didn't love him anymore.
That Ji-Ho didn't love him anymore.
That his parents left him.

He doesn't realize when he starts drowning in his thoughts, disassociating from his surroundings.

Seokjin frowns when he sees Namjoon's body shivering, even when he is decently covered in warm clothes.
He sees tears gushing out of his eyes but no sound coming out of his mouth.

He doesn't know what caused Namjoon's hysteria and he doesn't know how to console the man.
"Namjoon-shi" he whispers, extending his hands towards the man and taking very slow careful steps.

Howeve. he runs towards the man when he sees Namjoon's body limping and falling with a thud on the ground.

Kneeling beside Namjoon he immediately supports the man's back with his own body.
"Namjoon-shi" his voice comes out in a panicked frenzy.

He feels Namjoon's body heat and it feels like his whole body is burning, confused as to what is happening he immediately takes the man in his arms and runs towards the infirmary, not caring about the fact that his hairs aren't fastened in a knot.

Seokjin barges into the infirmary as he kicks the door with his feet.

Alert by the commotion the guards and maids immediately follow their king, noticing the unconscious man in Seokjin's arms one of the maids runs towards the physician's chamber.

"Call the physician, RIGHT NOW, FAST" he shouts and carefully settles Namjoon on the infirmary bed.
He notices Namjoon's whole body feels stiff and his lips are turning blue, his breathing coming out in very slow puffs.

The old physician soon enters the infirmary his clothes in disarray.
Pushing aside Seokjin he immediately starts examining Namjoon.

"The poison,it relapsed," the physician says turning towards Seokjin.
