Jungkook wanders in the massive arsenal, inspecting various weapons such as bows, arrows, swords, spikes, knives, etc. mentally taking a note of the weapons that need to be re-stocked or require maintenance.
Although he wasn't required to care for the inventory in the arsenal but he has been missing the heaviness of a sword in his hand, and in order to reconnect just a little bit with the feeling he decided to take a look at the arsenal.
And maybe just maybe he is feeling bored because the twins aren't with him right now, them being currently entertained by Seokjin.
In the past six months, his life has been flipped upside down because of the twins, but the change was in no way unpleasant, in fact it was exquisite.
Since the day his brother died, he always felt alone and paucity of love in his life. But with Taehyung, he has made a life once again, and has made a family once again. He is grateful for the people he has got in his life, everyone around him is diligent towards their work and that itself is sufficient enough for him to live the rest of his life with prosperity.
He cherishes the time he has created around himself and is proud of his achievements as a king.
He had worked hard for his kingdom and created a safe and growing environment for his people to live.
And he will make sure to sustain this present, after all that's the oath he took when he became the king.
"Hyung" Jungkook turns around with a smile on his face at Taehyung's words.
"Yes.." he says taking steps towards the prince.
"I got the varnish" Taehyung says showing the bottles of varnish.
Jungkook swears his heart accelerates, every fucking time at Taehyung's adorable boxy smile no matter how many times he sees it, his husband's smile reminding him of the twins smile.
"You finally got the varnish" Jungkook says " How many paintings are still unfinished because of a varnish?" he asks Taehyung.
"Ummm... Not many, but I am gonna create some new ones...i finally have the time...might as well utilise it" Taehyung says
The king nods, and strokes Taehyung's long hair. Tangling his fingers in them. He loves that Taehyung has grown out his hair, and now his ethereal husband literally looks like a divine being to him.
"Should I chop them?" Taehyung asks
Jungkook shakes his head and Taehyung smiles even more, he likes the look in jungkook's eyes.
"Shall we leave now...it's getting late" Taehyung asks.
"Yes..."

Convoys of soldiers could be seen with their respective weapons and riding on their respective horses.
A golden dragon proudly plastered on their uniforms, representing their positions as Soldiers of Dernia. A very special task being handed over to them, all of their chests are puffed out in great pride as they all march forward, towards the kingdom of Alvania.
Their King, Jung Ji-Ho has this time made a masterplan in order to conquer Alavania, and they all are confident in their steps that they will win, and make Dernia the strongest kingdom of all time, these Soldiers right here will be the foundation of Dernia's glory.
"Do you think we can win this time?" One of the younger soldiers Whispers to his senior, the senior at least a decade older than him.
The older man smirks, a smile of surety on his face.
"Of course we will, the king of Alavania is not in the Kingdom, Their Army chief is not in the kingdom, defeating Alavania would be a piece of cake" he boasts, confidence oozing out of his voice.
"But still aren't Alavania's soldiers double our size" the junior says
"A bunch of disorganised dogs cannot beat us, lions" the senior laughs, as he pats his chest, where the symbol of a golden dragon rests on his uniform.
"I thought Dernia personified dragons" the junior mumbles to himself
"You say something?" The senior asks
"No...how much more time till we reach the borders" the junior asks again.
"We will reach there at dawn" the senior says as the silence of the dimly lit forest continues to get distributed by the galloping of thousands of horses and carriages.

"It's been six months and the king is still not back, having an empty throne is hazardous for the kingdom, I would recommend to personally go to Eucon and urge him to return to Alavania"
One of the ministers says to Princess Mina.
"I think so you're right, I have already sent him around 5 letters in the span of 6 months and he hasn't replied to even a single one" Mina says her forehead creased in worry, making her look way older for her age.
The responsibilities of a kingdom are heavy on her shoulders, being the only royal family member present at the moment she is the one responsible for everything happening in the kingdom.
With Jungkook and Yoongi gone Alavania's safety is dangling by a thread, she isn't able to keep up with the kingdom and the ministry can see that. Although the ministry trusts Mina, they know Mina isn't capable of handling a kingdom. Bong Cha has been forgotten entirely by the ministry, the former queen being surprisingly quiet and Jaehyun as always has no intrest in Kingdom's matters
"Who should we send to Eucon?" A minister asks.
"The governor of Serafina ( Bogum )will be sent, the king is familiar with him, he will leave early in the morning for Eucon." Mina says and the ministry agrees with her.
Bogum holds a crying Mina in his embrace, his own eyes damp with tears at his wife's misery.
Nowadays Mina gets so overwhelmed by kingdom's affairs that she often ends up crying in her husband's hold.
She misses spending time with her family, the affairs of kingdom eat up all her time making her unable to look after her child and now he is down with pneumonia.
"I don't want to do this anymore" Mina wails
"It's fine everything is going to be fine" Bogum comforts her
"Nothing is going to be fine... Everything is in tatters...what if orabeoni never returns. What will I do? I don't want to rule" Mina says her doe eyes directed towards her husband.
"He will return, we all know how diligent he is, he just needs time to heal." Bogum assures her
"I don't know anymore, you have to make him return, I can't keep up with this anymore" Mina pleads and Bogum nods. He will make sure to relay his message properly to Jungkook and return with him.
He can't see his wife sad anymore, it's reaching his limits as well.
"Your highness, your highness please open the door...there is an emergency" Bogum frowns when he hears a frantic voice of a guard, this early in the morning.
The couple glance at each other with confusion.
Mina sniffles and Bogum wipes her face with his handkerchief.
"Come in..." He says, after he makes sure Mina looks organised enough.
"Greetings Your highness...forgive me for my brazenness. But we have received a letter from the South borders.
A war has broken out at south borders.
Dernia attacked us at the crack of dawn your highness. The brigadier had asked for troops to be sent Immediately, or else enemies can breach our borders any moment now" the guard says handling the letter to Mina.
Mina's hands tremble at the guards words, her heart palpitating as her brain registers the contents of the letter...
