Chapter 7

(Freed POV)
I was reading a book when Evergreen walked back and looked like nothing ever happened.
"Is Laxus not back yet?" She asked and she drank from a new cup of tea.
"No, I wonder where he is I just saw Mira without him." I said looking in a circle.
"There he is." Bickslow said pointing in his direction. As he got closer I saw he was dragging something. I ignored it and went back to my book.
"Apologize" I hear him say sternly, he was right behind me.
"About what?" I turned to ask him what I had done. My face drained of all color. Their stood the girl. She looked even more beautiful without the ragged clothes she had on earlier.
"I'm sorry" She said.
"Laxus?! Why were you dragging this this young lady!?" I hear master's voice say.
"She knocked Freed over and I wanted to see her say sorry." Laxus said nonchalantly.
"Look what you did! You scared the poor girl." Master said clearly irritated. I looked at her, she looked like a deer in headlights. Her eyes welled with unfallen tears and scratches covered her legs from when Laxus dragged her and a bruise on her neck where he was grabbing her. She suddenly dropped to her knees.
"I'm so sorry. Please don't hurt me I didn't mean to. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She sobbed. She was kneeling as low on the floor as she could.
"Please don't do that! Come with me, I will get you a drink and you can calm down." Master said. "I first must talk to my grandson..." He looked at Laxus irritated.
"Freed please take her to the back room and try to calm her down."
"Yes Master." I bowed. Although I didn't know what to do, I did as the Master told me.
She was still bowing on the floor.
"Please, get up" I asked, she didn't move. I kneeled on the floor next to her. "Please, I will not hurt you, I must do as the master asks." she sat up and cried into her arms. I look over at Evergreen. She motioned for me to hug her. I was put my arm around her she didn't move.
"I have to take you to the back room, if you can not move I am going to pick you up." I said to her. She still didn't move. I gently picked her up, when she showed no objections, I walked her over to the back room. Mira saw me and opened the door walking in with me.
"What happened?!" She asked as I put her down.
"Laxus made her apologize to me, he really scared her." I said stuffing my hands in my pockets. Mira's face turned red in anger as she stormed out of the room. Laxus was in trouble now...
I sit in the chair across form her. I think of what to do. I write a calmness enchantment around her and she started to stop crying. Once she stopped and sat up I sighed.
"I apologize for Laxus's behavior." I say.
"No, I'm sorry I didn't mean to break down, I'm just not used to people and didn't know what to do, and being dragged isn't the most comfortable thing" She said, she smiled, her face covered in tears.
"I still want to apologize, miss..." I say/ask, I never asked her name. She quickly stood up and shook my hand.
"Sophia, and you are?"
"Freed Justine" I say shaking her hand as well.
"Master will be back in a moment. " I say and start to stand up. "Is there anything you need before I go?" I ask.
"No, I don't thi... wait, we're is my bag?!" She asked alarmed.
"You must have dropped in back at the table." I say.
"Please take me their I must have that bag back."
"Please, let m-" I began.
"No, I need to, please" she said her eyes were focused and stern. I nodded and led her back. I saw Evergreen opening the bag.
