Freed POV
I look up all of a sudden a ship seems to be spiraling to the ground. Hopping up from the stump I found to sit on I run over. Girls in cut up dresses start to drop off the side, I run over offering to help them. I present my mark and they seem to understand. I take a girl in my arms that was clearly sick, the others stumbling awkwardly on the still land, but were able to walk well enough. It had probably been a while sense the were on still land and not a rocking air ship.
I run to the edge of the woods where I had cast a rune of cloaking. When I stop the girls do as well.
" You are safe here, he can not get in, and it is cloaked, medicine is here, were is sophia?" I say in an almost robotic manner really only caring about my last question, laying the girl in my arms on the ground propping her against the stump I had been sitting on. Before any of the girls speak a scream of pain pierces the air.

Sophia.

With speed I have never had before I sprint to the ship scaling the side to see sophia curled up in a heap on the floor, the creepy guy looking over her.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER!" I yell. Her body didn't move, she was just laying there breathing heavily her back to me. Marsuk turns to me.

"You? You are the one who knew where we were?" He laughs. "What could you do? Why do you care? If you leave now letting me have this one, you can have the others. A wizard is much more interesting that those crummy Nobles, and..." he begins.

"Never." I growl venom dripping from my voice. If he thinks I will ever just let him go he is more that crazy. He has done so much to so many, but more than that, he has done something to Sophia. I can't let that slide. I rush forward pulling my sword from its hilt. I quickly cast a cage rune trapping the man.
"If I could you would be dead, but I must return you alive. You lucky bastard." I growl I reach in the cage punching him in the nose as hard as a could.
"Don't you ever touch her or any other woman again or I will personally end you legal or not" I threat, my aggression and strength must have startled him because he has seemed to shut up.
I set a flair into the air, signaling the police we had waiting to start coming to our location to help the girls and get the criminal.
But my mind and eyes really were on one thing, I quickly rush to Sophia kneeling in front of her, he breathing still heavy and irregular.
Letting my hand fall to her side I roll her over, reviling a large gash. A gasp falls from my mouth as I begin to rip up my shirt rapping it around her to stop the last of the blood. Though I could have used my coat it was filthy, and this way I can rap that around her, for some reason she was mostly stripped, the ball gown she was in when I last saw her was gone and I don't want her to get cold.
Her eyes are squeezed tightly shut, her arms rapped around her stomach clearly in pain, I hear yelling turning to see the policemen had arrived, and the girls had gone to them, and started explaining what was going on.
I lift Sophia and step past the few men stepping on the ship. Her cloth. I need her healing thing.
I step down onto the ground laying her as flat as I could on my coat. Pulling from the pocket of it, her bag, tussling through it I find the healing cloth, the same she had used on me. As I gently as I can I pull her hands away from the wound laying the cloth over it, within a few seconds it begins to glow.

Her face relaxes, as dose her body. The cloth stops glowing and I pull it away. The wound was gone. Her eyes were now closed softly and her breathing slows and gains a pattern.

I feel hot tears roll down my cheeks. She was ok. I pull her into my arms hugging her sleeping form tightly.

After a few moments an office approaches me, asking about what happened.
I imminently hate him, I didn't want to leave her side, but I knew I had to fill them in for the reward. The faster I can do that the faster I can get her somewhere warm.

I fill various people in on what they need to know. The magic Council's police force, already having had people in town looking for Marsuk, take him, and the girls are taken to the station for a place to sleep and eat, and though they offered for me to do the same I declined.
I had already had a set of rooms at the Moon's inn set aside for the next few days for the mission. I lift Sophia rapping my coat around her creating a large burrito, and cast a speed rune on myself. I would have taken her in a magic power machine but I didn't want to shake too much and wake her up, this way, I would stay pretty even and still.
Arriving I open one of the rooms and lay her on the large bed surrounding her in blankets and pillows.
I walk to the door closing it softly. Turning back to face her I take a seat in a large chair watching her, she will be safe, I can't look away, what if the wound was deeper than the cloth could heal, I have to watch her.
She has to be safe.

(Sorry for the edits made to the chapter, re reading I realized how much I had messed up, there are probably still mistakes but at least it's a little better now ~^~)
