Chapter 23

Master (POV)
Sophia walked into my office and I smile up at her.

"I'm so happy you have taken a job." I say and she sits down and nods at me.

"Evergreen also said she set up for a friend of hers to come with me?" She asks.

"Why yes, you have met them before." I say stroking my chin. After I finish talking a knock comes from the door. "Come in!" I yell. Freed walks in.

"Hello master I am here for the job? Bixslow said I needed to come here." He says solemnly.

"F-freed!?" Sophia exclaims. He looks at her his face turns slightly red.

"I-I umm I am very sorry am I early...?" He asks looks at me.

"No your right on time I was just about to explain a few things about this job to Sophia please, take a seat." I say motioning to the vacant chain. He sits down and stares at my desk.

"So as I was saying, I am very happy you have decided to take this job I think you two will be able to do this very well together." I say pulling out the request paper.

"This is an Assassin hunting job, so it will be close to what you normally do." I say looking at Sophia.

"This assassin goes by the name Marsuk (Mar- s-oo-k), he has been killing wealthy family's taking some of Their belongings and leaving.
The strange thing is is he Doesn't leave the bodies of the female children. Their are four girls missing. We do not know of their state but we want you to catch him and find those girls. We do not know what kind of magic he uses but we do know he uses some kind of blade to kill. Any questions?" I explain then ask. They both look at me determined. I nod.

"You can count on me master." Sophia says griping the strap of her bag. Freed nods in agreement.

"Here are two train tickets to Okinawa. That is where the last family that he attacked. It is also the place where he has been thought for his next attack in a two days." I say sliding the tickets across the table.

"Sir I would like the money for Amuraus. I have no money to take with me on this trip and I think I should have some with me.

"I currently do not have the money but I will find a wizard to lend you some and send him away during your trip. I believe by the time you get back we will have the money." I reply. She sighs.

"I understand master. Who sh-" she begins.

"Because I am going with you I will lend you the money as needed." Freed interrupts, blushing. She smiles brightly.

"Oh! Thanks freed!" She says the grip on her bag strap tightening once again. He nods solemnly not turning to look at her face.

"Well then now that that had been covered you two should head to the train station. Your train leaves in an hour." I tell them. Freed picks up the tickets.

"Very well master." He bows and exist the room.

"Thank you master!" Sophia smiles and walks about my desk and gives me a hug, I return her hug and she runs out after freed.

I laugh to myself. "Kids these days, blinder than a bat in the middle of the day."
