(Sophia POV)
"UGG your getting heavy!" I say pulling on my bag strap.
"While just let me go den, o' walk" Armiraus said from my bag. My bag is a magic one, it can hold more than a normal bag, it's bigger on the inside.
Armiraus was an assassin. I had been chasing him for 2 months from town to town until I could capture him. I was bringing him to my town for a reward. Although the reward was small is was enough to feed me for a few weeks, well, and Mina, my magic pet mink.
"And you and I both know if I walk I will become even more tired" I yelled at the bag. Although I wanted the reward I hated having to lug the convicts around. Armiraus was no exception, he was loud and rude and would not keep still. Although I easily bound him with my magic, it didn't make him any less annoying.
I felt my arms squirm and was dragged out of my thoughts.
"What is it Mina?" The small rodent wiggled so I landed and put her down assuming she needed to stretch.
She started running, at top speed.
"Dang it..." I mumbled and ran after her. I need to learn she dose this every time she can't ride in the bag. As I was running through the town I saw people looking at me and whispering. I assume the saw my flying and are creeped out, oh well.
I run through the streets, ducking and dodging. I yelled sorry over my shoulder more times than I could keep track.
"MINA!" I yelled as I ran after her. I started slowing down from the heat and the weight of my bag. Although I could lift larger amounts of weight than a normal person, the heat drained my power.
"COME BACK MINA!" I yelled again jumping over a small child picking up a ball. I was afraid she would start shifting and I could no longer find her.
Mina my pet Mink is magic as I said before. When she was born she had access energy. Almost 10x a normal animal. It caused her to pop into other things that she had seen like birds or other critters. Dew to this it scared her parents and siblings, and she was promptly left in the woods. I found her, crying and shifting from her original form to a dove. I picked her up and took her home, my mother helped me find out what was wrong and helped me train her to use her powers.
Now she can change on command, -and when she isn't mad at me will change into what I want her to.
"MINA COME BACK!" I yelled after running around a woman with a stack of bread in hand. Mina ran into a large building with its doors open and I ran after her. I ran in and ran into a man knocking him over, Mina stopped and turns to look at me, a little girl with blue hair picked her up and I turned to the man I knocked over extending my hand to help him up.
