Chapter 11

(Laxus POV)
I turned and looked at her face.
Why was she being so nice to me? I dragged her... I was frankly quite rude... I got up.
"Fine, just don't be sappy anymore." I said gruffly. She smiled at me and we walked over to where the others sat.
"Whogh bruh, you got the lion out of his cave with out loosing an arm, cootos." Bickslow said to the girl. what is her name? Sopey? Ya, close enough.
"So Sopey, you joining the guild or what?" I asked her sitting, in my spot at the table.
"First it's Sophia, and second I am considering it." She smiled, I noticed freed looking at her. She had sat next to him. I know that look he has on his face. I start to laugh.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" Sophia asked me, apparently thinking I was looking at her.
"Naw. It's freed, gosh buddy you've got it bad!" I laughed.
"What do you mean Laxus?" He asked. How was he confused by what I said?
"One second..." I said wiping a tear from my eye. I walk over to the salamander's table.
"I need to barrow the cat." I say standing at the end of the table.
"Why?" Lucy asked cocking her head.
"IF YOU FIGHT ME LAXUS!" Natsu yelled. I zapped him with lightning knocking him out.
"Come here cat." Happy flew over to me.
"What do you want Laxus?" He said crossing his tiny furry arms.
"Look at that" I pointed at my table at freed and sophia sitting together. She was laughing at something someone had said and freed was watching her, grinning like an idiot. She looked at him and he chuckled at what ever she said and everyone at the table started laughing.
Happy got an evil glint in his eyes.
"You have to wait until I get back over thier. Okay cat?" Happy only evily nodded. I walked back over and sat with the others.
"So what did you need to do?" Evergreen asked petting a small white thing.
"I wanted to zap the pyro." I said and shrugged. "And what the heck is that thing? It looks like something a dog killed." I stared at the thing in her lap.
"It's a mink you insensitive jerk!" She said and stomped on my foot. It didn't hurt. I shrugged. She looked angry, but I looked over at happy as he flew this way. He flew and stood on the table.
"May we help you happy?" Freed asked. He was always polite to the furballs.
"Hello happy." Sophia smiled.
Happy turned to freed.
"You lll-iii-kk-ee her" Happy said grinning
"Who? Sophia?! N-no I don't." Freed said remaining fairly calm. He glared at me, I smirked.
"Laxus may I speak with you a moment?" He asks me, grinding his teeth.
"Sure buddy" I shrugged and walk out side with freed.
"What's up dude?" I asked leaning against the door frame.
"Why would you ask happy to say that?" Freed asked me regaining his composure.
"I didn't, I just pointed out the ovious. He did it on his own." I shrugged and chuckled
"Yes but I do not have romantic feeling toward her..." He said to me clearly still confused at my actions.
"Are you seriously going to try and say that? You act so differently around her. You always have a smile on your face. When you were watching her laugh your face even turn a little bit red! You never blush! Your really going to try and tell me you don't like her? Not even a little bit?" I say to my freind, I crossed my arms. He looked dumbfounded. Although he is extremely smart he sure is an idiot some times. I roll my eyes.
"I do not have feelings for her though..." He mumbled. I smacked my forehead wiping my hand down my face.
"Let's try this little activity! Just think about her..." I say annoyed at how ignorant Freed was being.
"Alright?" He closed his eyes and started to think as I assume. Nothing happened to him... When he had me do that for Mira... I felt my face turn hot remembering. Maybe I was wrong...
"Freed you can stop now." I say he opened his eyes.
I shrugged. "I guess I was wrong... sorry." I said and stuffed my hands into my pockets.
"Quite alright." he said. "shall we go back inside?" He asked me
I shrugged and opened the door. I walking in and was followed by freed.
