Sophia pov

Im not sure what's gotten into Freed but he has changed. He is so forward? I'm not mad, but I don't know how to react. Is this flirting? Though I don't know a lot about flirting what I learned from my parents was not this... he is so nervous, and he isn't consistent... they said people tend to be really forward when they flirt? Maybe I scare him so he ain't flirting but trying to hide or something..? But then again he out in so much effort to keep me safe... this is so confusing! I groan face palming internally.

My hand drifts up to the bruise forming on my neck. It hurt... I can feel my heart beat through the bruise, if must be pretty bad for so much blood to rush to it that fast. It's giving me one heck of a headache though. I pull my buns out letting my hair fall loosely around me, hoping to relive a little of the pressure. I let go of a small sigh at let my head tip back on the seat closing my eyes. If i think about other things maybe it will help.

"Soophia...." I hear a voice call. I look around. I was in the field again.

The once warm pink sky loomed a dusky grey- green color. The lovely swaying grass is an ashy black, I lean down brushing against a grass sprig, it crumples into ash floating off in the air.

"Sophiaaaaaa" the voice calls again, I hesitantly walk to the tree. It's once amazing leaves we're now gone, It's elegant willowy form now rigid and stiff. The face on the tree seemed to be less black. It was now slightly easier to see, though still quite dark.

"You have taken one of my own,
A great strength you both have shown,
Pain and harm I want for you,
So take who is yours I will do.
My thrown is growing day by day,
The more I gain the more you shall pay."

He says his rhythmic words echoing across the emptiness around me.

"Payyy! PAYYYY!" The voice starts chanting. I back up trying to run only to be greeted by a barrier of trees. Every way I turn, it sits there, chanting.

"Payyyyy"

"SOPHIA!" I wake up. Freed's hands hold roughly on to my shoulders as he shakes me roughly. I let out a small gasp, my eyes ache and burn like I was crying. My body felt ridged and cold.

"What... where..." I manage to mutter peering around. Still in the train car... still with freed...

"You were having that dream again weren't you.  You were crying. Are you ok?" Freed says in a soft voice. His left hand sits in my cheek whipping away hot tears.

I feel weak. I'm physically tiered. Magically tiered. And mentally tiered. I let my body slump forward into freed's chest.

"S-sophia!" He loud whispers in Shock.

"Please. Just let me stay like this a little longer. You feel so safe... so warm..." I mumble in a haze, not really processing the words dripping from my lips. Tears stream down my cheeks, falling in his shirt. I don't know why this keeps happening... I just want it to stop... I sigh knowing I had to lift away when I feel something warm drape over my back, I peel open my eyes and peek over to see Fred's coat. He turns his body to face forward, putting my head on his shoulder. I was completely covered by his jacket, I'm sure no one could see me beneath it but for the fact that the coat was filled out, and something was under it.

The tears slowly stop. I rap my arms around, the one of his that is next to me, nuzzling my cheek into his bicep. He felt safe.... warm... like I don't need to worry About that face.

Who or what ever it is.

My head starts to pound, a mix of crying and the still fresh bruise make my temples throb.
