Chapter 13

(Sophia POV)

I traced my cup with my finger getting lost in thought.

"Guys! Check out what my babies got!" Bickslow yelled holding up a sheet of paper. I looked at it from across the table, all I could see is 3 hundred thousand Jules?

"That should be an good enough job..." Ever said.

"What ever" Laxus said in reply.

"What is it?" I ask from across the table. They all looked at me like I was stupid. my face got hot and I slid slightly back in my seat. I bumped into freed and moved over again. I then fell off the back on the bench and landed on my back.

"Ow..." I grumbled from the floor. I sat up and started coughing. I knocked the breath out of myself.

"Are you ok?" Freed asked and helped me up, I nodded still regaining my breath.

"F-fine" I coughed out horsely.

"It's a job request, people send them to us we fulfill the requirements, and get paid." Freed explained.

"Oh like what master said about the fee, for catching Armiraus?" I asked regaining control or my airways. He nodded.

"Let's go, maybe we can be back before dinner tomorrow." Laxus said standing up and stretching.

Freed looked over to me.
"Will you be ok by yourself?" He asked, I nodded and smiled. Mina hobbled off of Evers lap and sat next to me.

"Be safe" I smile and wave as they leave.
I get up now with Nina in my bag and walk over to the table where the odd group of wizards sat.

The one known as Amanda was blond with crystal blue eyes, Her hair was long and strait, she had fair skin and a smile on her face. Sam had green eyes and light brown hair that was longer for a guy, it just covered his eyebrows and it was parted in the right. He had tan skin and was looking down at the table. The other two weren't sitting at the table at the moment.

I walked over to the table and stood at the end.
"Hello, may I sit with you?" I ask to the two sitting there.

"Umm, sure, can we help you?" Amanda said.

"Not really I just wanted to meet you, and talk about Sam's... Odd spirt, and your team mate..." I say trying to sound polite.

"They weren't bothering you were they?" Amanda asked.

"No, not the ones I'm speaking of, they were asking about Leo..." I say unsure.

"You say my name and I appear..." I head a voice from behind me, a shiver shot up my spine.
"Hello beautiful dragoness." He took my hand off the table and kissed it, I pull it away.

"LEO!" I herd Marin, the fox celestial spirit yell. I turned around and watched her walk over to us. She grabbed his ear and they both disappeared. They were gone?!

"It's ok they just went to the Spirit world..." Said Sam, it was the first time I herd him speak, he had a small, high voice for a man.

"Oh ok..." I say rubbing the had Leo had kissed.

"I'm so sorry if he made you uncomfortable..." He said.

"It's fine, I'm used to people bugging me." I say laughing under my breath.

"Why did he call you dragoness?" Maria said walking up to the table with a drink in her hand.

"I... Umm..." I started stuttering.

"Are you the new dragon slayer we have been hearing about?" Amanda asked.
I nodded timidly.

"That's so cool! Want to join our team?" Maria asked me. It was one of the boldest things I think Iv ever heard anyone say. But then again, I have spoke more words to people in he past 4 hours than in the past 6 months... So... Ya.

"Maybe?" I say still not completely sure if I'm going to join the guild or not.

"It's a yes or no question" she says bluntly.

"Umm..." I mumble.
