(Fred POV)

I nod softly hearing her words, I always carry a first aid kit on rescue missions so I had something that would help the girl I'm sure. I lean against a tree running a hand through my bangs I feeling my eye glowing ever so slightly.

I wish I could have done more.

I want to set up runes.

Traps.

Blockades.

Anything...

But I can't.

I don't want to interfere with her plan... I just wish I knew what it was...

I rub my temples with my thumb and for finger. Another glance at the moon.
Probably around midnight... about eight hours to wait. I can do this. I pull out my med kit and shift some of the things around, just trying to keep my mind busy.

The night seemed almost eerie, the soft hum of insects and the rustling of leaves fills the crisp air. A soft breeze blows through the trees. I close my eyes and let out a deep breath. I watch the clouds drift silently through the night.

I knew she was up there. With him. A pit forms in my stomach.

"I can't wait to put him in jail for the rest of his filthy life." I say aloud to myself. I put my hand into my pocket and pull out the chain again.
It was strange.

It was old and well warn. It seemed like it could fall apart at any moment. Though it was clean, it was rusted in parts. It seemed to be made of silver; though it's probably once silver color had caroaded and now a soft brown color. It also had a few charms attached. A small off blue crystal in the shape of a moon. As well as a few smaller charms in a soft white color in the shape of stars. Seven of them.

I rap my fingers around the chain and bring my fist to my lips letting it rest their for a moment.
I think back to the train... how scared she was... I want to help her like I did then... but how...
Putting the charm back in my pocket I get up and start to pace.

Leaves and twigs crunch under my boots as I walk. I pull out my sword swinging it instinctively as if to cast a rune but i was just looking at the blade.

I watch my warped reflection shift and change as I move the blade.

Each minuscule movement causes a change. I chuckle a little bit to myself. It seems my emotions have been personified.

Shifting, changing, warped... but I can always tell what it really is, and what lies beneath it...
