Chapter 21

Evergreen (POV)

"So your going to take care of her?" Laxus says to me. I nod.

"And me and my babies have got him." Bixslow says. His babies chant behind him.
"Him him."

I hoped our plan would work. Lissana told me what had happened while we were gone so this should set off without a hitch. Laxus's plan was brilliant.

I look to my left to see freed comming towards us and I cough. Makeing the others stop talking.

"Hello." Freed says blankly.

"Hello freed! How are you?" I asks hopping he hadn't heard any of your plan.

"Fine." He says and sits down. He was giving me the cold shoulder... I wonder why. He takes a deep breath.

"Have you seen Sophia?" I ask him. He Doesn't move.

"Yes, she was here when I came in." He says plainly.

"Ok..." I say slightly confused. He's been so happy this week what happened...?

"I have some Business to attend to, so all see you boys later." I smile at them. Getting ready to set the plan to action.

"Is it with Elfman?" Bixslow taunts. I glare and growl at him.

"Don't fight I don't have the patients today." Freed says holds his forefinger and thumb to his temples. Man is he a grouch today. And he wasn't even the one who had to basically run in heels yesterday! Ugh.

"I walk over to the counter to see Sophia talking with Nastu. He walks away and I sit next to her taking his place.

"Well if it isn't my favorite dragon slayer." I smile at her. 

"Oh hello Evergreen, that's sweet thanks." She smiles.

"So I just wanted to say congrats." I say and ask Mira for a smoothie.

"On...?" She asks curiously

"Well becoming a Member of Fairytail of course!" I laugh. She blushes.

"Wh-who told you?!" She asks confused.

"Lissana did." I reply. "Where did you get it." I ask. She turns reviles a black Fairytail emblem on the top side of her right leg.

"I like that spot." I say.

Sophia (POV)

" I'm afraid I'll regret where I put it, but I love Fairytail. I hadn't been here long but you people have become a wonderful family to me. Even if some of you have changed..." I mumble the last part under my breath.

"I'm glad, welcome aboard!" She says cheerily. "I came here to talk with you about something." She states. I nod as if you prompt her to continue. 

"Master said that he thought it would be a good idea that on your first real job, you have someone to accompany you. He asked me but I have plans." She explains. "So I set up the mission with someone else. Someone I know personally and will protect you. They care about this guild and everyone in it. I could not make a more perfect person for you to go with. I want you to have a successful first job " She Continues. "All you have to do is sign here." She finishes. Well.... I guess. I sign the document trusting her word.
