Chapter 12

(Evergreen POV)
I watched as freed and Laxus walked to the door. I looked back to Happy who was now looking at Sophia making kissy faces. She was blushing a deep red color.

"Please, Happy, it's not like that." She blushed and covered her cheeks, shaking her head. He evilly giggled and flew back to his other friends.

"Soo... you and freed?!" I said stirring some sugar in my tea.

"N-no!" She put up her hands up. "We are just freinds" her blush shockingly got darker than it had before.

"I'm just teasing don't get your knickers in a twist." I say takeing a sip of my tea.

"Well girly, he li-..." I dumped my tea on bickslow befor he finished.

"Ever! What was that for?!" He looked at his now drenched armor.

"Oops." I shrugged, he walked off to clean himself up.

"So what do you really think about Freed, now that the snitch is gone?" I looked over at Sophia.

"Well I... Umm..." She was wringing her hands.

"Come On I won't tell anyone." I urged her.

"He's really sweet... And nice to me... I mean you all are. but even after I knocked him down and cut his hand open he was still nice." she tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear.
"You cut open his hand? But both his hands are fine..." I looked at her. "Did Wendy heal it?" I asked

"No. I used this." she pulled a small white cloth from her bag.

"And that is?" I took another drink of my tea.

"My mother would heal me with it when I was little. I was a destructive child, so I commonly would get gashes in my skin. She would tie it around my arm, or wipe my skin with it. Her sister Grandeeney gave her this to help heal me. it only works on wounds the size of the cloth though, but it can heal almost anything as long as it is small enough." she smiled the little cloth did look old, but well kept.

"Your mother was sister of Grandeeney?" I asked.

"Ya..." she smiled and looked down, I shouldn't keep talking about her mother.

"So that's how you healed Freed?" I asked her trying to changed the subject.

"Ya, I'm happy it worked, it's never been used on anyone but me so I hoped it would work." She smiled.

"So, do you like any mages from the guild?" She asked me cocking her head.

"N-no!" I said, I peeked over at Elfman who was talking to his sisters at the bar.

"You like the ape man?" She asked, crap, she fallowed my line of sight.

"He is NOT an ape!" I said crossing my arms. "He is dunderhead but not an ape." I said. She started to giggle.

"What might be so funny?" Freed asked from behind Sophia.

"Ya, what's with all the giggling?" Laxus added sitting down on the bench.

"Nothing!" I said almost imminently. Sophia began to giggle even more. I felt my face turn hot. She was wiping tears from her eyes when they asked again.
"So what was so funny?" Laxus asked
"Nothing you would understand." she said wiping her eyes.

"YOU CALLING ME STUPID?!" Laxus said standing up and knocking over the chair he was sitting in a second ago.
"N-no, I mean you had to be there to find it f-funny!" She said quickly covering her face and neck with her arms.

"Laxus..." Freed said, Laxus rolled his eyes and sat down.

"Sorry..." he mumbled and rolled his eyes again. Sophia peeked up from her defensive position.

"It's ok..." She said and quietly looked at the ground. Everything became silent and awkward.

(Sophia POV)

"THIS IS THE GIRL WHO SAW IT!" I heard a woman's voice say from close behind me. I turned around to see the woman with fox ears hovering over me with a finger in my face.

"Umm hello..." I say shyly waving my hand.

"Was Leo flirting with you?" A girl asked. She had tanned skin and army green eyes. She had a little button nose as well.She was wearing a white crop top that hit about her bellybutton with green cargo pants, and no shoes. She had some objects floating behind her as well, like a cat doll, an elephant doll, some nunchucks, and a red axe...
"Wh-Who's Leo?" I stuttered freighted.
"Yes, he was. " Freed responded for me. Who's Leo. I thought.

"The cat man who was bothering you." Freed whispered in my ear seeing my clear distress. I felt me cheeks turn hot his face being so close to mine.
"Lest go kick the crap out of him!" The woman's who's name I still do not know almost yelled. The fox woman fallowed her over to another table.
I looked at the others.

"What was that all about?" I ask.

"Oh... That Maria and Marin, they have Been best friends since they joined the guild." Bickslow started responding.
"They also have quite the team, they have a celestial wizard with quite a few stronger spirits, including the famed Leo" -this named gained an eye roll and a chuckle from the others- "and as you saw Marin, he also has quite a few other spirits." Evergreen said adding on to what Bickslow said.

"But I read in a magazine when I was in the first town away from my home in the woods, that Leo is one of this guilds other celestial wizard's spirits, Lucy? I think was her name." I said/ asked.

"He was, but after Leo fell for Marin, Lucy and the other wizard traded some keys, and now Leo and Marin are together. Only thing is that Leo can't drop his flirting habit." Evergreen said, Every one at the table laughed.

"So who else is on the team?" I ask curious about my potential new guild mates.

"Well first Maria, she was the girl you just saw, she has bickslows' magic, that's what the floating dolls and weapons were." I nodded and evergreen recalling a cat and elephant toy, an ax, and nunchucks.

"Then Sam, he is their celestial wizard, he is quite shy, especially around new people." Freed said.

"And Amanda, she has memory make magic (like Rufus from saber tooth, grand magic games) she is the most normal of the few." Laxus said tipping back in his chair.

"What do you mean?" I ask him tilting my head.

"They are all a little nuts, Maria and Marin and very.... Chaotic? And Sam is afraid of everything. Amanda is the most level headed." He said taking a long slurp from his mug.

I giggled, the group sounded funny, I looked to at the table with the people.
Hmm...

Sorry this chapter is so over dew, I had gotten writers block, then my power and wifi went out.
