Elenor woke up to the sun shining in her face. She groaned and sat up and realised she had a cast around her arm. she also felt a bandage around her stomach. The league must have did this. she turned to her left and saw Liam sitting on a chair and laying his head on the bed and she smiled. she was so happy to have him as her boyfriend and couldn't ask for anything more.

Liam felt her moving and woke up.

"why didn't you sleep on the bed?" Elenor asked.

"well you're healing and I didn't want to hurt you if I moved you." Liam explained and Elenor smiled.

"come on, you can come up now" Elenor scooted over and let Liam climbed onto bed. Liam placed his arms around Elenor and she leaned on his shoulder.

"how are you? I heard what you did back at camp. I'm sorry you lost your sister." Liam told her with a sad tone.

"I'll be fine, it had to be done or else she could have done something bad. I just wish it didn't have to be my sister." Elenor said sorrowfully

"I know, I'm sorry you had to go through that." Liam leaned on Elenor's head and caressed her arm.

"how about you? how are you feeling? I know you hate this place."

"I'm alright as long as you and Chubs get the treatment you both need and as long as Ruby is safe." Liam explained and Elenor looked at him and kissed him with a smile.

"I promise we will get out of this place, me, you and Ruby. they won't keep us here forever." Elenor told him and he smiled.

"by the way, where's ruby?" Elenor asked.

"she's in a different room. we all had to be in different rooms but i insisted on being with you until you wake up." Liam explained and Elenor was glad Ruby was safe. She didn't know how life was going to be like from now on but she was glad to have Liam by her side and she promised herself she would get her and Ruby out of the league, whatever it takes.

In a different room, Ruby jolted up and looked around and found out that Cate was sitting on a chair in front of her bed and Rob was leaning against a wall.

"it's good to see you again." Cate told her with a smile but Ruby just stared at her.

"Ruby you're safe here, the league owns this house and we use it when things get complicated." Cate explained and Ruby looked outside and saw many leagues walking around with guns, guarding the place.

"Chubs is in the hospital, He's in pretty bad shape, so if he has any chance of making it, he'll get it there" Cate told her.

"Don't call him Chubs, you haven't earned it." She said sternly.

"Charles" She corrected herself

"when he can have visitors, you'll see him" Cate said. Ruby wondered where Liam and Elenor were.

"you must be wondering where Liam and Elenor were. Elenor is resting in another room, we helped her too don't worry, and Liam is with her, he insisted that he had to stay with her." Cate explained.

"You have to let them go." Ruby told her.

"I'm sorry I can't do that. Liam was once part of the league and we did a background check on Elenor and she's an asset to the league" Cate told her.

"They're not killers, you can't make them one" Ruby said.

"we don't make killers" Rob told her.

"I don't know what they told you about the league, but that us not what we're about" Cate said.
