Don't be fooled by the spell of the rose
Look for my thorns,
Big and sharp,
They won't prick, but leave a deadly gnash
My words will make you bleed like the thorn that'll kill you.
A monster is what I am,
You said you could handle me
But it killed you to be with me
No need for lies honey
I for once, know how the tale continues.
Not your typical monster,
Your lovely monster you had wistfully countered
But it isn't how it always goes about
I'm a monster in ways seemed angelic
The belle with the curse within,
Always charming and caring
Until the devil comes amidst.
Yea I know I'm a monster
I've been telling myself since I was born.
I ruin things and that's bad
Still can't fix the consequences of my own actions
I hurt people and that's why I've always kept my distance
But you showed me how beautiful connection feels
It feels like death to make sure
You eat but not at my table.
Sorry to take the victim card
Forgot that you were the bleeding
I hid the scaths on my hand
As I proceed to try to make amends.
If you're scared of me making someone else the prey
Dont you worry my old flame,
My last prey is already targeted
I mutter your name as my last words
And the kill has been made.
