The cloud opened up for a delightful sight
The light that restored the hope in her eyes
Her shoulders relaxed,
she could feel the oxygen reach her lungs
The clouds were tinged with darkness but there was this light above it
Her eyes were big,
savoring the message nature conveyed to her today
The darker the sky the brighter the sun hiding in it
And so her ears piqued up,
the music in her ears coming to a halt
Maybe nature had more things to teach her about reality.
The night came and as she looked for the light in the sky,
she found pitch darkness instead.
Her shoulders tightened,
and an ache in her heart consumed her whole
She wondered if the feeling of freeness was worth a moment of devastating anxiety
She had no light to erase the darkness
Her ears picked up the voices in her head,
the music going up higher than the warning level
Maybe nature was lying,
Maybe she overlooked signs that were absent in the first place
She suffocated In the fully conditioned room,
she felt like she was in a panic room
The walls closed on her
and she felt the aftermath of going against the voices that called her worthless
It was agonizing,
the reality chasing her dreams away
She should have never believed the sky that looked like a flower and blossomed inside of her
The night was for overcoming the weak
But she fell to her feet
The sky that gave her hope, became her doom.
