There are some parts of me.
That are yet to know
So I stand under the rain
Drenched in this reality
I know what to do, I promise
Although you know I don't
I'll figure it out, as I always do.
And though I don't know
I am yet to understand how the world revolves
I'll figure it out, I promise
It has been raining since I can remember
My bones shiver with cold
I'll figure it out, I assure you
Cynicism highlights the contrast
I wake up to a Monday morning,
only to realize at night Sunday had come
Time triumphs with a smirk
And leads up in the race
I struggle to get out of bed
Even more to get in at night
It'll be alright, I assure myself
There are some parts of me
That are yet to know
It's just some rain
I have to endure
And then maybe
I'll know what to do.
I must be certain..9/2/24.
