Close the door
That attempts to light up my otherwise dark room.
Close the door
That reminds me of what my duty as a person is,
to shine in the darkest of corners
Close the door
And every other window in the room
Let the darkness be so black my presence is hidden
Let the silence be so loud, that it covers my screams
Close the door
I will return tomorrow
I must drown in the darkness first.
