Fake dancing on hearing the keys turn
Laughing loud even if i don't understand the jokes
Pretending to be busy while my brain remembers you.
Not for long, I promise,
I'd unlearn to self sabotage
This won't go on for long.
I'd be a fool
If i let thoughts keep me underwater

I'd gather the courage to swim away soon

If I keep my past in front of my eyes
