Tears streamed down your eyes, making your vision blurry. A broken vase sat in front of you, along with a roll of tape. You were drunk and tired and upset and thoughts were not sorted out. Archons how would Diluc react when he find out you broke it? He was gonna be mad... w-what if... what if.

You tried to shake the memories of your last partner out for your head but they continued to stain your mind.

"Love... you're not going to be able to fix that with tape."

You jumped at the sudden sound, turning to face your red haired boyfriend. "H-how long have you been there." You hiccuped.

"Long enough to know what your trying to do. And see that you're upset."

He looked at you like you were a hurt animal. Diluc came and sat down next to you wrapped one arm around your shoulder. Then kissing your cheek. You tried to hold back the rest of tears but failed. You could see he wasn't mad but still felt like he was.

"A-are you mad?"

He seemed shocked at the question. "No?" He saw the fear in your eyes as you asked the question. "Hon, I'm not like your last partner, you know this. I promise you we can find a way to replace or fix the vase."

You nodded still a bit hesitant. "Now come on y/n let's head to bed, we'll put the pieces in a container and try in the morning. You still seem a little tipsy."

You could now see he wasn't going to hurt you, he was nothing like your ex. He was completely different, he actually loved you.
