"Morning love," Kaveh said with a sleepy voice.

The birds sang their morning song while the sun shone through Alhaitham and Kavehs thin curtains. The window was slightly ajar and a small breeze brushed through the room.

"Morning," Alhaitham said as Kaveh snuggled into his chest. He always found this cute as well as the way his face scrunched up his face trying to block out the sun.

A silence fell between them and the blonde-haired man almost fell back asleep. Was only awoken by the sound of his husband getting up. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Making coffee? Want anyway?"

"Yes, in fact, I do." He tried to put on an angry face but Alhaitham saw right through it.

He grabbed Kaveh's cheeks with one hand and kissed him gently, which earned a blush from the other man. "Hey!" He pouted.

Alhaitham only walked away with a smug smile on his face. Kaveh dragged himself out of bed about 10 minutes after Alhaitham finished the coffee. He grabbed it off the bench and took a seat at the dining table.

"What are you doing today?" Alhaithamed looked at his 'grumpy' partner.

"I've got a client out in the desert."

"Sounds fun.'

A silence fell between the two, Alhaitham placed both cups in the sink and continued to get ready for work. Kaveh sat there for a little while, taking in the slight tweets of birds and the rustle of the morning wind.

"Honey. I'm heading off."

Kaveh his head towards the grey-haired male. "Alright have a good day dear!" Alhaitham gave him a little kiss on the bridge of his nose. Then proceeded to leave for work.
