Alhaitham usually wasn't the type of person to get drunk. He hardly ever went out anywhere, he was usually at home reading or at work. Tonight was Kaveh's birthday and Alhaitam wanted to drink so you, his partner, offered to stay sober. His friends also didn't know you were even if you had been dating for a few months. You were a bit worried alhaitham was going to say something while intoxicated.
About an hour later, Cyno, Kaveh and Alhaitham were completely drunk. You and Tighnari were happily just sipping on your favourite non-alcoholic drinks. Alhaitham was the most drunk out of all of them since he couldn't hold his liquor well. You sat there and prayed silently he didn't say anything
You looked over towards Alhaitham and smiled. He was adorable when he was out of character like this. You feel a slight blush creep up on your cheeks. Which became more when he rested his head on your shoulder.
"Y/n, it's so loud."
"Didn't take him for a lightweight." Chuckled tighnari.
You looked at alhaitham, wrapping your arm around him, as 'friends' do. "Last time we did this he was pretty-"
Alhaitham shot up and interrupted you by poking your cheek. "Pretty? Y/ns pretty."
"H-huh?"
The group chuckled seeing how soft the usually stoic man was towards you. He resumed his position on your shoulder, this time more cuddling into your neck. You just sat there face as red as a Jueyun Chilli. "Haitham..."
"Mm?"
"Your friends are here... you said that in front of all your friends..."
"And? Your point?"

"Yup, can't wait to tell him what he did in the morning."
"No one laughed at my joke..." Whimpered Cyno
