summary- Imagine Wriothesley returning the engagement ring they got for Y/n to the jeweller. Not because said no, but because Y/n had the courage to propose before Wriothesley did.

It was the happiest day of your life. Well, I'm sure the wedding would be tough competition, but this would be a close second. The day you proposed to Wriothesley. You'd both wanted to go on a date to the aquarium. This was the perfect opportunity to propose to your significant other.

You slipped the ring in your pocket hoping Wriothesley didn't see you. Throughout the entire date, it weighed heavy in your pocket, fully reminding you of what you were going to do.

Soon you'd reached the shark section, his favourite animal. You took a deep breath and got down on one knee."Wriothesley... We've been together for what? 2 years... And I've loved every minute. So I want to stay with you till death do us part. Will you marry me?"

"Yes! Of course, I'll marry you!" The smile on his face couldn't be matched. The people around you cheered as you were held in his embrace. The sharks even seemed to stop and stare at the scene below them.

"Wanna know a secret?"

"Sure."

"I was gonna propose too, near the turtles."

"See we're even more perfect for each other."

"I guess we are."

A day later wriothesley returned to the jeweller, clutching the small box in one hand. The jeweller who had served him when he bought the ring was working again. She looked at him with sad eyes.

"No luck?"

"What no. They proposed first." Wriothesley smiled."

"Oh that's lovely!"

"At the aquarium."

"Even better."
