The wintery cold had affected many people around Teyvat. Baizhu being a doctor had a lot of sick calls some being serious. Until you caught a cold, he dropped everything and asked the other doctors to look after the other sick people. You were the most important person in his life, and you getting sick was awful for both of you. Seeing you sick and weak in your shared bed was not something he wanted engraved in his mind.

He bought you soups and other foods for you to eat. He made sure you kept up with your medicine and made sure you got lots of rest. He was very attentive, he would hardly let you out of his sight, not that you could move much anyway.

Changseng was able to keep an eye on you when Baizhu had to leave sometimes. She was slightly less strict but still made you rest, begrudgingly.

"Y/n, I'm home, I made some more medicine at the shop. How are you healing up?" He said with a slight smile on his face. His golden eyes sparkled with the light from the sunset.

"Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better." You were being genuine, this time anyway. The last few days you'd tried to tell him you were fine, but you were bedridden sick.

"Are you sure, let me take your temperature." He started to fuss over you again. He placed his calloused hand against your forehead feeling your fever. "You don't feel as warm anymore darling."

"Thats good, I'm glad I'm getting better. Must be your constant attention and care." You chuckled.

"Yes, it must be. I suppose its great to have a husband as a doctor isn't it darling?"

"It is a lovely perk of our relationship."
