Baizhu x Gn!reader- I'm alive, I'm revived, I survived

I've seen hell but this a bit more style  t/w- y/n gets injured, battle, pain, blood summary- You become injured in battle and your husband starts fussing over you.

Getting injured during a battle was not on today to do list. The sword sliced your leg, warm blood trickled down your leg. The man who slashed you stood with the sword above you about to plunge it into your heart. You were a great fighter so having you gone would mean a greater chance a victory for the opposition.

Before the man could hurt you more, a black and blue haired male stepped in, blocking the blow of the sword.

"Medic!" He shouted.

That was all you remembered, you passed out from there. You woke up in the medics room, you've been in here many times before. And knew the healer quite well. Well you should know him well, he's your husband.

Baizhu stepped out from behind the curtain, and fussed over you. Checking and changing the bandages, giving you medicinal herbs and forcing Changseng to distract you from the pain.

"How many times have a told you to be careful when in the line of battle." He coughed out.

"Well," your throat was scratchy. "I couldn't help a guy stabbed me in the leg."

"I hope that man pays for what he did."

Things went silent again, Baizhu was very protective of you. He wanted you to stay alive so he could spend the limited time he had left. And he knew it couldn't be too much longer.

He sat down on the bed next to you and ran his fingers softly through your hair. You leaned more into his touch. You couldn't take moment's like this for granted. You looked up at his face. His soft smile was your whole world and so was the way his glasses slowly rose up when he smiled.

"You can get more on the bed. I wanna lay on your lap."

You could only imagine Chengsengs expression at your lovey-dovey behaviour. "S-s-sickenly, s-ssweet." She hissed.

"Oh Changseng. Let us have this." You laughed.

She let out a small sigh. And baizhu moved to comfort you more. You lay your head on his lap as he continued to stroke your hair. Moment's like this you would never trade for any amount of money or health.
