summary~ you and your husband have an argument, it starts to pour

The rain hit heavy on the tavern roof, causing a realisation to hit you. When it rained it could only mean one thing... You were seated at the tavern, with a glass in hand, trying to drink away your problems yet again. You placed your head down on the table, not because you were tired but because you were sad. It was pouring down rain and it seemed to get heavier by the second, like the guilt forming in your chest.

You ran out into the rain, just trying to see anything through the downpour. You were drenched the moment you stepped out. You ran through the ran towards the courthouse. Thats where he would be right? He was always there. You ran into the courthouse, with tears filling your eyes, your voice calling out his name.

"Neuvillete! Its me Y/N please. I'm sorry..."

After 30 minutes of searching every nook and cranny, he was nowhere to be found. Where the hell could that man be. He was never anywhere else but the courthouse or... home!

Once again running through the rain, becoming more and more soaked by the second. He had to be at home, he had to. You couldn't get those terrible thoughts out of your head.

You kept pushing on trying to ignore them, just wanting to get home. He would be there surely, he had to be. You burst in the door running towards the shared bedroom. In the middle of the bed was your husband.

He was curled into a ball, with tears streaming down his face. You just looked at him not sure what you should do.

"Neuvillette?..."

His sat up looking at you, his eyes were puffy and red. His face was tear stained. Neuvillette looked at you with those eyes, almost like a sad puppy. You wanted nothing more than to hold him.

You slowly walked towards the bed, trying not the startle him..

"Dear?" He said.

"it's me Neuvillette."

You sat down on the bed waiting for him to initiate something, you didn't want to invade his space. Slowly he moved closer to you,

"Can you hold me love?" Neuvillette looked like he was gonna start crying again.

Without a word you wrapped your arms around him, not daring to let go. Soon enough it was you crying.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry..."

He didn't say anything just hugged you tighter. And slowly the rain slowed down.
