Despite standing directly next to Scara, and him generating lots of body heat, it still felt cold. He had a tight grip on your wrist, making sure you didn't leave. You tried to force a smile while talking to Scara's friend, but it was fading, like a broken lightbulb. You used to be so full of energy and happiness. It felt as if it had all been sucked out of you.

Finally, you were able to drop the smile, saying goodbye as his friend walked away. He slightly loosened his grip on you, but still, you could feel his eyes staring holes in your head. Scara was a protective man, but especially of you. Sure sometimes he hurt you, but that was love right. Tough love?

The two of you walked back to your house, still his grip had not fully been dropped. As soon as you got in the house, he let go. It scared you a little, you weren't expecting him to let go anytime soon.

"Go wash the dishes or something." His voice was harsh and uncaring.

You went without a word, silently washing the dishes. Soon enough he came up right behind you.

"Why were you looking at him?"

"Pardon...?"

"You were looking at him. You were trying to flirt with him!"

"Scara no, please."

He inched closer until his mouth was on your ear. "I thought I told you not to smile at other men."

You stayed silent, you weren't sure what to say. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry doesn't fix anything, does it, Love." The way he said love made your skin tingle.

You stayed silent trying not to anger him anymore.

"No one else will love you like I do, I don't mean to be harsh. It is only because I love you.

You nodded, he was right. He did love you, well that's what you told yourself.

"Now come here." He pressed his lips against yours.

You started to shake, tears also threatening to start coming out. How the hell had you gotten here? Pressed against the kitchen sink, being held and touched in places.

"Scara stop..."

"Oh stop you say, why, we've only begun."
