The sun shone through your thin curtains. You tried to avoid the sun but god damn this hotel had so many windows. Kaeya was still fast asleep, U bothered by the pesky light that woke you. You couldn't decide whether to cuddle Kaeya or let him be. He would most likely wake up if you tried to cuddle him. Maybe you could take that chance.

Kaeya was facing the opposite direction to you, so the best you could do was cuddle into his back. Almost like a backpack. He didn't stir, not even a little. He was nice and warm, almost like a massive heat pack.

Sooner or later you fell back to sleep. Only to be woken by kisses on your forehead.

"Morning Y/n. "

Instead of being the backpack you were sometime this morning, you were now wrapped up in Kaeya's embrace.

"I see you got a bit clingy at one point." He smirked at you, then planted a kiss on your cheek.

"Maybe I did?" You chuckled back at him.

"I think you did. Oh I have a surprise for you today, since it's the last day of a holiday."

Kaeya got up from the bed, before helping you get out. You both got ready for the day, and Kaeya kept refusing to tell you what the surprise was. Sooner or later you left the hotel and wandered the streets. Till kaeya stopped at the most beautiful beach. It was so quiet except for the sound of birds and waves crashing against the sand. A few people were scattered on the beach.

Despite being all sunny, it was still a little chilly. A breeze slowly passed the two of you.

"Is this the surprise?" You asked.

"Half of it." Kaeya smiled at you. You knew that smile, he was definitely planning something. "I need you to turn around for me."

"Alright.." you sounded skeptical.

But you turned around anyway. Soon you heard shuffling in the sand, it took all your willpower not to turn around. He tapped you on the shoulder and told you turn around. You followed his instructions...

Kaeya was down on one knee.

"Y/n.. we've been together for what has felt like forever. I love you with all my heart and I hope you feel the same. So I'm going to ask you this question-"

You start to tear up. This is one of the last things you expected to happen. Kaeya had been acting slightly weird lately now that you thought about it. God your parents already didn't like you dating Kaeya, how were they gonna react when you tell them you're engaged!

"Y/n. Will you marry me."

"Yes yes yes! Kaeya, I will marry you."

He smiled the brightest smile you've ever seen. He was so happy and that made you happy. He slipped the ring on to your finger before standing up and instantly going for a hug. You put your head on his shoulder, staining his coat with tears. They weren't sad tears, why would they be sad at a moment like this?

"I'm so glad you said yes."

"Why would I say anything else?"
