The dark winter night was freezing, and you could feel it inside your house. The heater wasn't working and you had pulled the blanket off your bed just so you could watch your favourite TV show on the couch. Wanderer on the other hand could barely feel the cold. Actually, he could barely feel any temperature.

As the night went on it only got colder, and you only grew more tired.

"You okay, you're shaking?" Wanderer asked.

"Yeah, just cold."

The silence was deafening. You kept pulling the blanket around you tighter, hoping to get just a little bit of heat out of it. You felt shuffling on the other end of the couch, then felt a hand on your back.

"Did you want to cuddle?"

"I mean I would've asked earlier but you looked somewhat comfortable..."

"come here." He said with a smile.

So you dragged your blanket and yourself over to where your partner was lying down. You felt a bit warmer, but who knew if that was just your cheeks or his body heat. It felt strange Not to feel a heart beat. Despite this, he still harboured so much love for you. He gently moved his arm to let his hand rub your hair.

"Is this okay?"

"Perfect, I feel warmer already.'

"Good."

A slight redness began to form on both your cheeks. You were glad he was here, you would still be shaking if he wasn't.

Soon you heard heavier breathing from Wanderer. Smiling to yourself you cuddled into him a bit more. "I'm glad I got stuck with you." You muttered.
