It was that time again, the time for spooky decorations, ghosts, and the best of all the tricks.

Every year you and your boyfriend Xiao had a competition to see who could trick the other person more. He pretended not to enjoy it, but you could always see the smile creeping up slowly on his face.

Before Xiao went to have a shower you decided to try and pull a trick. On the bathroom mirror with a bar of soap you wrote a message for him.

Of course Xiao didn't actually do anything, you just wanted to see how well the actual trick worked. About 20 minutes later you heard a chuckle from the bathroom before Xiao stepped out.

"Nice try." He moved towards you before wrapping his arms around you and placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. "I know what you did, y/n."

You started to turn red, not knowing if it was from embarrassment or playful anger. But you knew he was going to get you back.

Later that night Xiao got a bit busy with work and had to stay in the office for a little while. You were ready to head to bed, the night may have been young but you were so tired. You pulled back the covers only to find bugs spread all across the bed. You screamed but quickly realised they were fake. Xiao stood at the door frame watching you with a smirk,

"So... Did i win this year?"

"Hmph, yeah."

Xiao laughed at your reaction before sweeping his arms across the bed wiping the 'bugs' off. He then scooped you up in his arms before wrapping you in tight cuddles. He wasn't letting go anytime soon, don't get me wrong it was nice being held like this. The moon was full and clouds covered the stars, only allowing the brightest to shine through. The moon was massive, and made you realise just how small humans are.

He moved his head to your neck before kissing it gently, and burying his face in the back of your neck. You both fell asleep like this, in each others embrace,
