Hello everybody!
Super big THANK YOU coming your way! Make Me. has reached 4k reads and 200 votes!
I never expected or thought people would actually like to read the story banging around in my head, but decided to write and post it for myself. Now here we are!
Chapter 15 starts the the real rising action of the story, which means Book 2 is almost done! I'm so excited for the start of Book 3. I really feel like 1 & 2 are the foundation of the story, and are important, but the rest of the story will have a lot more to it, so thanks for sticking with me thus far.

P.S. Every time I see the name "Cornelius Fudge" it just really makes me want fudge. So I'm off to make a batch of peanut butter fudge :) If you wondered where Ellie got her love of peanut butter toast, it's from me and I will not be apologizing.

Harry's shouting about the Chamber of Secrets had been heard by half of Gryffindor Tower, waking a group of angry seventh years who just wanted to go home, and a group of terrified first years, who thought the Heir of Slytherin had broken into their common room. There was an awkward sort of silence as Ellie lifted hoisted herself up bitterly, grabbed the diary from the table, and ushered Harry out of the spotlight, towards Ron at the bottom of the stairs. Ellie pushed them up the stairs towards the boy's dormitories, meeting Hermione halfway, who had started down to the common room with everyone else, saw the source of the noise, and began in the same direction, thinking the same thing Ellie was.
With a heavy sigh, Ellie shut the door to the Gryffindor second-year boy's dormitory behind her. She dramatically slid her back down the door, landing her butt on the floor, the diary falling down next to her.
Seamus Finnigan was out cold; apparently he was a heavy sleeper. Neville and Dean on the other hand, the other two occupants of the dorm besides Harry and Ron, looked quite startled to see Ellie and Hermione in their bedroom at one o'clock in the morning. Neville had woken to Harry's shouts, but was too scared to go downstairs and Dean had wide eye's locked on the girl with black hair sitting on his floor. He lifted his blankets a little higher up his chest to cover his pajamas as Ellie scanned the room.
"Everything's fine Neville, take your onion and go back to sleep," Ellie said a little breathlessly before standing up and shooting Neville a reassuring nod. Neville whimpered a little, still half asleep, before curling back up in his blankets and closing his eyes, his now rotting onion was right next to his head on the bedside table.
Ellie grabbed the diary, motioned for Harry, Ron, and Hermione to join her on one of the empty beds, and sat, making room for the rest of the quartet. Dean looked almost offended when he wasn't offered to join in. After everyone was situated on the red velvet draped bed, Ellie lifted her wand to draw the curtains.
"Sorry, Dean, Dumbledore's hellions only," Ellie said with a flick of her wrist and the drapes of the four-poster bed closed her in. "Muffliato," Ellie muttered with a second flick of the wrist and a faint buzzing noise surrounded them like the curtains had just seconds ago. Once Harry realized Dean could no longer hear what as happening behind the curtains, Harry jumped straight back into action.
"It was Hagrid. Hagrid opened the Chamber of Secrets fifty years ago. That's why he was expelled!" said Harry with a whisper shout.
The second-years all took a moment to really think about he possibility of Hagrid opening the Chamber of Secrets, Harry and Ellie having a moment to breath after traipsing Riddle's memory, Hermione and Ron having a moment to wake up and process what Harry was shouting at them.
